    1. Powerless Series (Omnibus 1-3)by Jason LettsI first tested the single first book(Synthesis) for free- I believe it is still offered as free. I would recommend that someone start with that and decide if they like it enough to try the rest then I'd recommend the omnibus because it will save a little money.I really liked the first book for getting the reader started into this world. It at first reminded me of Anne of Green Gables meets Harry Potter. It quickly shifted into Harry Potter meets Genius [...]

    2. I became a fan of Jason Letts when I read his Inevitable series. He has a great imagination and creates wonderfully unique worlds that are very easy to get caught up in.I have to admit that it took me a while to get into the pace of these books, but once I did, I wasn't sorry that I continued reading.Mira is a very complex character. Because her parents kept her isolated as a child, she finds herself as an outsider in a group of friends that have been together since they were very young. Her par [...]

    3. Read the first volume in the compilation (Synthesis) and had to wrap it up there. Although the premise is interesting and the reason I started reading it in the first place, the characters never really clicked for me. On some level I kept feeling as though I was being subject to a kind of clumsy, well meaning but amateurish fanfic, more than a good piece of YA literature. I might be missing some good developments by not going further, but this is as far as I can get, especially taking into accoun [...]

    4. This series is bad on so many levelsThere was a moment in the second boolk when I was surprised I really hoped that things would take a turn for the better and some points from the first book could turn into something interesting All my hopes were in vain as it all starts going downhill from there and the author even manages to make everything worse on the third bookI think I could have enjoyed if I was still a kid but I'm not really sure

    5. Lot's of fun, captivating, quick and easy. It's a good young-adult series, however you will find that the character descriptions are simple at best. I like a little more substance to go on when Im reading a series. The story and ideas are wonderful and I really enjoyed this world that Jason Letts has created. The series is definitely worth reading in full.

    6. The first book was a kindle freebie that I really enjoyed, so I bought the omnibus to get the rest of the series. I was very disappointed with how it played out. The writing got worse, the characters changed way too much, the overall story was getting weird and unenjoyable. And, it didn't finish, there are more books to read. I was so mad! I'm done with this series.

    7. A fun fantasy novel - a little Harry Potter school-stuff, but a twist with a different logic. I liked the character development, and the surprised the author threw at me once in a while.
