    1. **I was given a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review**This review can also be found at readinginthewindowseat.blo.Let me start off by saying what I liked about the book. The concept behind it was very interesting, that's why I was interested in reading it to begin with. I was curious to find out about the strange tattoo on her wrist, as well as why Andy died in the prologue. I liked how Webb connected his death, made it important and meaningful, by having Andy visit L [...]

    2. Actual Rating: 2.5 starsCourtesy of the author, I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review and, quite honestly, ended up liking it—but only after trudging through the first half of the book. While the beginning is okay—with the prologue of the Raggedy Ann Doll saving it and offering promise—the second half is fantastic. The plot direction, Liss's true history, and every player's role are revealed at the halfway mark and can only be described as fairytale-like. Bei [...]

    3. Reading the blurb made me interested in reading this book. It captured my attention and my brain started racing. However I wasn't as impressed with this book as I had hoped I would be. In the very first chapter characters are thrown at me with a speed that is astounding. I couldn't really bond with any of them due to how many there were. Add to this the point of view jumped around so quickly that I actually sat there saying okay wait who am I in now. I mean I was in Liss's head and then bam I'm [...]

    4. Finally able to put it down… only because I finished it!!! Once I read the short story ‘Black Days and White Knight’ from Melissa I knew I had to know more and was very excited about this book! Now I can’t wait to see if there will be even more to the story!?!? I hope so! The characters were great! Sometimes it could get a little tiring listening to ‘Liss’ complain and the constant “you’re amazing” from her friends… but then who wouldn’t want to know they’re loved especia [...]

    5. Inventive - that's the first word that sprang to mind as I read through this story. And it applied all the way to the end.Liss, the protagonist, is not what she seems to be at first glance - neither to the reader nor herself. To say nothing of Hunter, her protector!A group of school friends, with a fondness for horror, find real-life (and magical and mystical) horror bearing down on them and their entire town. And Liss, to her own surprise, is the only one who can save them. The story moves along [...]

    6. I personally always thought that the Raggy Ann Doll was evil, and this book proved that to be true. (shivers) If anyone else shares the same creepy feeling with that doll, your in for a ride (prologue). This book was well put together, and the pace ran fluidly. The actions and events were great! The characters I wish were a little bit more developed and a little less repetitive on the pet names. Other then that this book was a good read. I would recommend to give this book a try.Interview With M [...]

    7. This book was AMAZING! I could not put it down! Clever writing. The way the characters lives intertwined kept it interesting and mysterious. Every time I thought I had it figured out, I read something that changed my thinking. Liss was awesome and her journey changed her and made her stronger. I'm so excited to read the next installment!

    8. I loved the prologue! This book grabbed me right off the back and freaked me out. Dolls scare me. I thought the book is well written and had engaging storyline. I had a hard time identifying with the characters but overall it is a good story.
