    1. 3.5There is an old man living at Gray’s Inn for the past ten years. He doesn't allow anyone to get near him and he starts screaming when the church bells ring. Nobody knows what happened to him. Nobody knows how he ended up like that. Only one person, Williams, a 'dreamer' like him, got close enough to find out his story. That would have never happened happen if Williams' thirst for forbidden knowledge hadn't taken him to a place where he found something he searched for a long time. 'Necronomic [...]

    2. I really enjoyed this one! Which was nice the past few hadn't really been working for me was nice to get back to some weird super out there stuff.

    4. An unfinished short story, described by one reviewer as "chicken scraps" in Lovecraftian anthologies. Ha ha ha! I love the comparison. So, I read the chicken scrap, as it was all of two pages. Nice build up about a crazy old guy, and a young fellower 'dreamer', William, who gets to know him through questions regarding that zany tome we love so much, the Necronomicon of the Mad Arab Abdul Alhazred. And then of course, as an unfinished tale, we come to coitus interruptus. Oh well.

    5. I was confused by how truncated this was. Not that the story itself was short - it just read like it was unfinished.

    6. Yes, it is incomplete. This story was never finished; anthologies like to be succinct so they include the authors chicken scraps if they can. Which is fine, really. I'll rate this based on what we did read. It started off incredibly well, and I was most definitely not satiated. So I take this as a plus. I suggest you skip it. You won't find much aside from a set-up of one William who finds his past novel life of intellectualism and scholarship to bemething (well, a positive at the very least)? I [...]

    7. This just felt hurried and shallow compared to most of the Lovecraft tales I've read.I've enjoyed almost everything so far, but this felt more like a jotted idea than a fully formed story. It's only redeeming feature is that it's SO short I didn't feel too swizzed, but then that's the crux of the problem, the brevity and lack of detail!

    8. As I have this as an e-book I couldn't help but feel that my version was truncated, despite ending on a full sentence. The narrative simply drops off without ever really getting what was going on. Ah well Perhaps I should find a hard copy and check, but what I did have didn't grip me that much.

    9. After, all the book is pretty strange one It's Unifished at first as a second the words are odd when they are odd less stars should get the book. Third the Style is pretty strange, sample is awesome, complex why?

    10. As it is not a whole story but only a very short fragment, it is hard to rate it but I give it three stars all the same because I trust Lovecraft would have made it worthwile

    11. it seems to be incomplete. it starts off with good promise as always promised with the entry of necromicon, but it just doesn't move on and it ends abruptly.

    12. so what's up with the book Necronomicon? Guess I'll never know since the tale was never finished. It would have been quite interesting though

    13. Fragment of what could have been a promising story. It had a really great beginning, but then ended rather abruptly.
