    1. Book with built in finger puppet made my four month old laugh out loud. Illustrations are cute though there's not much to the story.

    2. The dolphin is a little finger puppet that is attached to the book In My Ocean. The dolphin jumps and plays with his family. Simple and sweet.Reviewed from a library copy.2017 storytime theme: baby storytime: water

    3. This book would be better for really young children because there isn't really a story. It's a block book so it's most likely geared toward toddlers. The illustrations are very colorful and bright which grasps the youngsters attentions. The finger puppet is great because they can wiggle the shark around and pretend like they are in fact the shark. There's little writing ab the words are simple but I still fell like it would be better if there was some sort of story to go along with it.

    4. This book introduces different elements of Ocean and seaside life with a cute little fingerpuppet dolphin. Each page has a different element of ocean life whether it be seaweed, sailboats, or waves and a bunch of different sea creatures (crabs, seahorses, squid, fish and of course a dolphin to name a few) and it's pretty easy to manipulate the finger puppet dolphin in various ways as described in the story.

    5. The puppet part and semi neat pictures are the only things going for this book. There is no story, one page you think you are done with the sentence and then you flip the page and there are a few more words. Huh? I get that it is a baby book and I have read tons. Just wish it had more to it. I can't even put inflection into my voice when reading. Just nothing there.

    6. My 1 year old son likes interactive books, so the finger puppet is a big hit. For some reason, he prefers the monkey finger puppet from "In My Jungle" to the whale finger puppet in this book, but he still loves this one as well. The story is quick, which is great for his short attention span.

    7. What I like about this and the other books in this series is that they show the character as an individual, then connect them to their family at the end. The illustrations are bright and fun. The finger puppet is soft and adorable. This is a series I would like to own!

    8. The book is colorful and has wonderful picture. Little kids can enjoy the book by touching the dolphin made by non-woven. Kids can discover what happens in the ocean to the dolphin. Everyone will have fun!

    9. My 2 year old picked this out at the library. He seemed to like it, but there wasn't much of a story. Just a book with a built in puppet really.

    10. I got this book from the library to introduce some common sea creatures, but I enjoy all of the books in this series. The colorful decoupage-esque illustrations are fun and engaging.
