    1. 5 Words: children, magic, spells, honesty, learning. At first I couldn't stand the twins. They were so spoilt, so selfish, such little brats. But then I put on a sing-song voice and I disliked them a little less. This is not a story I'd personally recommend. There are better witch stories for kids out there. Nevertheless, this was quite fun and it teaches a valuable lesson: don't be a brat.I received a copy of this for free via NetGalley for review purposes.

    2. Witch Twins is about Claire and Luna Bundkin, identical twins who are witches. In the novel, the twins want to stop their dad from remarrying another girl because they believe that this girl will take their dad away from them, so they cast series of spells to try to stop the wedding day.Witch Twins is a great read that I believe graders would really enjoy. When I read this book, I tried to keep my point of view in a kid's perspective, and I was really able to enjoy it. I think kids should read t [...]

    3. I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed this quick, fun read for older elementary children. The plot of the story is simple, and the author wastes no time getting right to the magic that makes this book so much fun. While the fledgling witch sisters experiment with magic and try to stop their father from marrying "Fluffy," they learn some valuable lessons along the way. This book is funny and the sisters are well developed characters that children could relate to easily. I liked their bro [...]

    4. Review published on Mundie Kids on 6/3/2013*MundieTween read this book in only a few sittings. The plot line of Claire and Luna trying to stop the wedding (by using magic) was one she truly enjoyed. Grandy was one helpful character who gives the girls a lot of leeway for them to pursue trouble like allowing them out of her sight so they can use her spell book to cast an important wedding ruining spell. The results wilt flowers, make the food taste bad, and to make sure their father's fiancee doe [...]

    5. Ten year old witch twins decide they do NOT want their father to marry "Fluffy," his flashy fiance from Texas! How do they try to stop the marriage? They attempt to use magic with their limited skills!Within this cute chapter book for young readers, you find a story told in a manner that will keep everyone's interest, with spot on dialogue, all while teaching a few lessons in a fun way! The book hits on topics that are current for the day, (divorce, re-marriage), in a way that ends up being very [...]

    6. This novel is a nice setup for follow up novels. Readers will meet two ten-year-old identical twins who just happen to be witches, and the only family member who knows is Grandy. After all, witchery skips a generation, and Grandy is a grand five-star witch who makes sure to train the girls so they can earn their first star.See? Cute already. In this first novel, we learn about Claire and Luna and their tight twinly bond. They seem to do everything together, especially witchcraft. So when their fa [...]

    7. Breezy and WinningThis book is a lot more than a "magical twins" escapade; in fact, the magic is really just a hook to allow us to follow Claire and Luna as they cheerfully and earnestly navigate their complicated lives as sisters, twins, fifth graders and novice witches. Think of a movie like "The Parent Trap". You could have made Hayley Mills and her twin sister witches, or not, and it would still be a charming movie. Or think of the "Patty Duke Show" from the mid-60's, where Patty and her nea [...]

    8. 4 starsWitch Twins is book one of the series. It is pretty good story aimed at older elementry age or higher. The twins look a like but are way different. They try to help and sometimes they try to use witch craft but they are newer witches and get into trouble. Claire and Luna's dad is getting remarried and they are afraid they will loose him. That he will move away so they want to stop the wedding. The girls dont like change. It keeps your attention in the story and has some good lessons that t [...]

    9. I quite enjoyed this one. I should have read it in one sitting, but I didn't. I believe all kids will enjoy this, but that twins will relate the most. I was supposed to be born as twins, but was instead born as one large baby girl instead. But, I still love books about twins. Claire and Luna are twins. But, they are also witches, who are looking to earn their witch kittens and their 1-star witch rankings, in order to achieve more witch powers to be able to do more spells. But, nothing seems to b [...]

    11. I absolutely loved the twins and their family and being a fan of witches and magic, I enjoyed the book a lot. So much in fact, I finished this book in just a day. Of course it's short and a kids book. The writing style was very very easy to read and I loved how each character was described in detail. The chapter names were fun and overall, it was a good book. I even used the book as comprehension to my cousin twins who are 10 and they enjoyed it. SYN: Luna and Claire are witches but their mother [...]

    12. I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.Twins Claire and Luna, who happen to be witches, found out their father was getting remarried. They were concerned about the consequences. Both of the girls were spoiled but not in a mean way. They were a little snotty, somehow this was one of the things I liked about them. Neither of them liked change and were vocal about it. They usually found they liked the change that had taken place. One of the best parts of the book was the [...]

    13. This is a really fun read for girls of all ages. I work with teens and find they are generally most interested in paranormal reads. This is a delightful book that will hold their attention. So many times I encounter kids books that talk down to them, this one is on their level and creative!! Loved the characters and concept! Such fun reading, made me laugh and giggle many times. Clare and Luna are great role models for young girls. Loved them!Terrific start to a series that can only get better! [...]

    14. Cute story for pre-teens, involving magic, family dynamics, finding and asserting your own personality, and most of all learning a valuable life lesson.I thought the book was very cute, the twins were likable and well developed, the story flowed well, had good content and is appropriate for the audience.
