    1. A pretty good story and another very quick read but while most of the editing was better than in the previous two books it was still only "fair to midland". I'm still chuckling about that from chapter 16. Fair to Midland is a band out of Dallas and Midland is a city here in Texas, but "fair to middling" is phrase she probably wanted in the book.

    2. I Have A Secret: Cheryl BradshawWhen your past becomes intertwined with the present why does it sometimes lead to murder? When high school friends decide to reunite on a cruise why is one classmate stabbed and thrown overboard? Doug Ward seemed very pensive and in need of deal with his own private thoughts before joining his former classmates for their night of fun on the last night of their cruise. Finding Doug on deck his wife Trista calmly waits for him to come back to the part after he tells [...]

    3. Revenge will be had. Sloane has decided to help out an old friend's wife after he is murdered. But the whole town seems to have secrets and who wants the four cool boys dead? The more Sloane digs into Doug's death and life the deeper the secrets become. Why would anyone want to hurt Doug, Rusty and now Nate? And why does the young girl hold all the clues? Will Sloane be able to figure this out before someone else needs to die? The past never stays buried no matter how much you wish it would.A go [...]

    4. This was the first time I picked up the Sloane Monroe series by Cheryl Bradshaw. Pretty good read, even if the writing could use some proofreading ("fair to midland" gave me a mild conniption fit). It makes me want to pick up more of the stories - while "I Have a Secret" can be enjoyed as a standalone novel, the characters like Sloane, Giovanni and his crew, and Madison have my interest piqued.

    5. During their 20 year reunion cruise, classmate Doug Ward mysteriously disappears. Sloane Monroe, also a classmate and a private investigator, decides to check the security tapes and sees that Doug was stabbed to death and thrown overboard. After the cruise, a few other male classmates are found stabbed to death. How are these connected? Sloane takes on the case of what seems to be a serial murderer. Could it be revenge for something that happened long ago?

    6. What's a PI to do when they go yo their high school reunion and classmates are getting murdered? We'll investigate of course. In this book we follow Sloane as she follows the clues to find the common link between the classmates getting murdered and as she does, she uncovers a secret big enough to kill for. Highly recommend this book for its suspense and Intriqued, with twists and turns to keep you guessing.

    7. Class reunion anyone?A class reunion cruise? Oh to die for! And someone does. A short walk down memory lane has just turned deadly. Cheryl Bradshaw unfolds hidden secrets like a flower slowly opening. Sloane observation skills lead her to a surprising conclusion. Giovanni and "friends" are a nice touch.

    8. This was a really good read for a free Kindle story. It was well plotted and absolutely held my attention in a way several of the other books I've read recently did not. The characters could have stood a bit more development, but otherwise, this was a very solid read and I'm looking forward to reading more by this author.

    9. Sloane a strong headed woman that will solve anything you put in front of her. She will make sure all truth is out in the open and leave no leaf unturned. Driven by forced Sloane is determine to figure out why these murders are occurring in her town she lived in as a child. With her husband by her side nothing can stop her from solving this mystery no money matters when people are dying around.

    10. Page turnerThis book contains a cast of colorful characters, especially Sloane and her boyfriend, Giovanni. Sloane attends a high school reunion on a cruise ship. The first murder takes place there. Sloane returns to her home town where murders continue to happen as long buried secrets are revealed. An edge-of-your-seat suspense.

    11. Easy and fast readsome well conceived mystery and tragedy. The bad cop is a little stretching. The most unbelievable character is Sloane’s boyfriend. But in a story that tries hard to make readers feel good and dream well, it is ok.

    12. Surprisingly good.Picked this up as a free book and was hooked immediately. Read it in one day, Sloane is a great strong character and her Giovanni gave me a thrill. Ok, I like bad boys! Think you will like it too.

    13. Not the best but still worth readingThis third book in the Sloane series doesn't seem to be as tight as the first book. The plot seems to be over-thought, the characters not quite solid enough. Still, a good read for a wet afternoon

    14. GOOD STORY!Reading this book is similar to the famous questionAbout the chicken and the egg.I cannot decide if I particularly like short stories orIf all the very interesting books end too soon.

    15. I didn't realize this book was part of a series. It can be read as a standalone. A PI investigate the untimely death of a high school classmate who was murdered and tossed overboard on a class reunion cruise. In weeks to follow more murders occur. A decent ending. Not a series I plan to follow.

    16. Good bookA good who dun it. A female investigator goes back to her home town to investigate. She eventually discovers a very old secret that's causing murders.

    17. She just gets better and better!!!!!If u miss one of Ms Bradshaw's books, you will miss a wonderful story!!!! This is another great read!!!! Don't miss it!!!!!

    18. Great ReadWell-drawn characters, wonderful plot, and few grammatical errors - unusual, huh? Beautifully laid out, and the surprises keep coming. Fine read!

    19. Trying to solve a murder while returning for a high school reunion leads to danger and two additional murders by one man seeking revenge.

    20. I would recommend this bookGood book with interesting characters. The book has mystery, suspense and action. The story is developed well and has a good ending.

    21. Besides the frequent punctuation errors, the book is worth a read.Personal opinion, I love the story and the way the author was describing the scenes in each chapter.Recommendation: 8/10.

    22. GreatI love the Cheryl Bradshaw books. I read them whenever I can. Unfortunately, I. Have to wait until they are free or I can manage a library run
