    1. I received this book in a giveaway several weeks ago. I appreciate being given the opportunity to read this book at no cost.Try as I might, I could not get into this book. I tried on several different occasions, putting it down each time after reading only a few pages.     2. For once I didn't receive this book as a GoodReads giveaway but my fiancee did so I procured it from her bookshelf after she was 'done' with it. As preamble I say simply that I finished the book. Every bless-ed word of it. Admittedly, most of the reason I did stemmed from the wrath of other GoodReads reviewers. I've never seen a book that has such a negative aura about it even from readers who haven't even touched a copy. As a perennial glutton for self-flagellation I just had to see what was so [...]

    3. As the author of Jury Rig, I would just like to let everyone know that this is a mixture of comedy, satire, mystery, and adventure. I had a great deal of fun writing this oddball story, and anyone that I've passed it on to has only had positive things to say about it. But don't take their word for it.k it out yourself.
