    1. Wel verdiende 4,75 gelezen in boekvormWat een power meisje. Petje af voor haar. Het boek leest als een trein en je kan goed meevoelen met de karakters zonder dat het een jank boek wordt. Begrijp me niet verkeerd.

    3. Amy is thirteen and a swimmer, the book opens with a vivid breakthtaking passage of her taking the county record from another swimmer she has admired and tried to live up to. A spectator drops their glasses and the shattered pieces fall into the pool, meaning the pool has to be drained and Amy, for the first time in years, doesn't have to go to training so she goes shopping with her best friend Sophie but a tragic set of events leaves Amy grieving and damaged. Coming back from deeper than blue i [...]

    4. I have read this story on more than one occasion and if the perfect example of when everything appears to be going wrong your dreams can still shine through. Barriers are there but doesn't mean they can't be beaten or overcome and Amy shows this throughout the story.

    5. Amy is a champion swimmer who has just broken the 800 metre freestyle record for her county but when a terrible accident happens and she loses her best friend and a leg, her life takes a turn for the worst. Deeper Than Blue tells Amy's story through her eyes after the accident to coming to terms with what has happened and realising that she can still fulfill her dreams. The writing style was easy and natural because it was told from Amy's point of view as well as being humorous at times which li [...]

    6. this book is about amy. a 13 year old girl who thinks being 13 and the fastest freestyle swimmer in the country is coole thinks that best friends will always be there no matter what.(soon at the end she will realise that it is wrong)t only that she beleives that strawberry smppthies are the best. can you even beleive that she loves dancing on her bed singing into her hairbrushe lovesss tripple scoop of dark chocolate ice-creamfrom the italian deli. Ithink that she is somewhat an intresting girle [...]

    7. I love YA contemporary novels and Deeper than blue wasn't an exception. I think the strength of this book are the characters. Amy is so human: she makes mistakes, she falls, she cries she's not a supergirl, she's just a normal teen trying to recreate her life after a terrible accident. But my very favorite character is, without any doubt at all, Harry: I loved his irony, his sarcasm and his ability to defuse. He's so smart and at the same time so sweet with Amy! It's also interesting to see how [...]

    8. Deeper than Blue is a breathtaking novel of loss & changes. Amy’s life is perfect. She’s just been named fastest swimmer in her county, has a best friend Sophie, and a pretty cool family. But when Amy and Sophie are in a fatal accident, killing Sophie and leaving Amy with one leg, she doesn’t know how to move on. That’s where she meets Harry, the funny, crazy kid in the Sunflower Ward. It’s Harry who pulls Amy out of her dark place, and with the help of her family also, she begins [...]

    9. 13 year old Amy loves being the best freestyle swimmer in the county. She also loves her best friend Sophie and doesn't know what she'd do without her.One fatal day, Amy is changed. Forever.Follow her through a beautiful story of courage, friendship and families, and making the most of life, whatever it throws at you . I love this book and have read it twice now- I definitely recommend it to 10-15 year old girls. It's magic.

    10. An inspiring novel about a girl willing to push past all the challenges in her life to achieve her goal. I have read this book multiple times it has never become old. I have also recommended this book to friends who rarely read books and they have really enjoyed it some even reading it again and again.

    12. I finished this book ages ago but never got around to writing the review now here goes the book was OK? Yeah it wasn't terrible but the ending was kinda obvious.< spoiler >The girl is a swimming champion, she gets into a car accident, her friend dies and she can never walk again, oh poor her! You can guess what happens in the end.

    13. I read this book in grade 6. It was a really touching book but sort of works od the difficulties that only a few teenagers have in their life and letting others know that they are quite luckyI would recommend this book to all girls between the age of 12 - 15

    14. I've read this book before as a child but never really understood it; reading it now, it is the most beautiful, realistic and eye opening book I ca think of. A must read for EVERYONE.

    15. I havn't read this in a while but at the age i was i found this book amazing. Sad but was a real story line that made you think

    16. Superbe roman qui m'a prise dans ses pages et m'a énormément touchée. Une belle histoire sur le handicap.
