    2. openbooksociety/article/thBrought to you by OBS reviewer AndraThree short stories within one book. I must say up front, I am not usually a fan of short stories but in this instance…it works.Story 1 – One Night With a Billionaire – Melanie’s storyIs it not every gal’s dream to meet a handsome Parisian and fall madly in love? I like that Drew was attracted to Melanie from the start and that he accepted Melanie’s reticence. Drew was always respectful of Melanie’s wish to pay her own w [...]

    3. When most people think of Vicki Lewis Thompson, werewolves come to mind, not necessarily cowboys. Vicki Lewis Thompson brings readers three stories about three different women who end up the cowboys of their dreams. The Perfect Man tells the story of Melanie, Astrid, and Valerie and what each of them is looking for in the perfect man. Readers who are looking for something different from this author, or just a good cowboy romance, this is the perfect book. What I liked:Each of the three stories i [...]

    4. Since this book was really 3 stories in one, I feel I should do each lady justice by reviewing them separately and then together as a whole. So here goes :) Story 1 - Melanie and the Texas BillionaireThis was my favorite pairing :) Only because I loved Melanie and Andre. Their romance was so unlikely and yet so perfect. They meet in Paris, fall in love it's beautiful! And what I loved the most about them? The fact that they showed one another a side of life that they didn't know existed. Togethe [...]

    5. Shelly‘s review posted on Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews5 STARSReview copy provided for a honest reviewThree great short reads by Ms Thompson. I love reading her books, they will draw you in from the start and hold you reading till the end. She has done it again with The Perfect Man.Melaine takes a trip to Paris even after her two best friends back out, only to come upon disaster after she lands. After being mugged in front of Norte Dame she has a guardian angel who tries to go after the mugger [...]

    6. I loved this book, it’s an anthology that is closely connected. The three woman each get their own story and their own fairytale ending.Melanie goes to Paris, and falls in love with a Texas billionaire. I really loved this part, since it seems so unlikely, but it works well with the way the author set it up. I really fell in love with Paris and Melanie. Andre was perfect for her, and she allowed him to rediscover the wonder he’s missing in his life.Astrid’s rich, has always been, so she bu [...]

    7. 3.5 starsWhy you should read it: I know Vicki best from her paranormal series, but I loved the cover of this one and had to have it. I also loved that it was an anthology as those are fun to read. It was superfluffy and happy and exactly what is needed on a sad rainy day. These were all previously published so if you have the individual e-books, you have to grab them all together! One Night With a Billionaire: This one is fluffy, and I loved that Drew chases down the thief and saves Melanie from [...]

    8. Three great, fun and simple romance short stories. This is the first book I've read from this author and it won't be my last. Melanie, Astrid and Valerie were sorority sisters and became best friends. Even years after graduation they continue to discuss their favorite topic: The Perfect ManMelanie goes on the adventure of her life only to be mugged almost the minute she gets to Paris. Drew Eldridge a dashing billionaire from all places Texas comes to her rescue. Astrid comes from a family with a [...]

    9. I received a print and digital copy from Berkley/ NAL in exchange for an honest review. The Perfect Man is a story about three friends that have their own versions of "the perfect man" who all go their own way and find their own happy endings despite the fact that their lives are far from perfect and pursue love in places they never quite thought they would find it. The Perfect Man has heart and more than a few laughs in store. I enjoyed getting to read the light hearted story Vicki has created. [...]

    10. the summary was slightly misleading as i didnt expect the book to be split into three parts with each main character. it unrealistic as well, with the 2 best friends getting engaged one after the other and in short periods of time after meeting their significant others. otherwise it was an enjoyable book.

    11. I loved this book. Three novellas about three best friends finding their love in the places they least expected.
