    1. 3.75*This would have been a great longer story, there is so much that I would have loved to have seen happen between these two! Ivriah is a ( slightly grumpy) Mage and fights for his country and in doing so often calls 'demons' to help, Orajin is the demon he usually calls for help. But in his free time he likes male lovers, something that is forbidden and severely punished in his country. When he accidentally calls Oranjin to help him out with his 'free time' lol, he is at first shocked but Oraji [...]

    2. The first part of this book is mostly "porn". There really isn't a plot to the story at first. The later half of the book is where the story gets good. I would have adored to have this as a longer read. I think there is a lot more that could have been had out of the story as a longer read. As it is I really hope that the author would consider another story with these two as the ending was a bit abrupt. We have no idea of how Ivriah and Orajin do. Would love to see more.

    3. I really connected with these characters. I enjoyed Ivriah's curmudgeonly nature and loved Orajin's devotion. There is a section of this story that becomes very intense and may be a trigger for some, but I did feel that it was integral to the story and not gratuitous.

    4. 3,5* upgrade because I would love to read more about Ivriah, Orajin and there worlds. This short story is more about their relationship and leaves so much room for more

    5. Bone: Slip of the Tongue by I.D. Locke3.5 StarsReviewed for heartsonfirereviewsIvriah is a cranky battle mage who enjoys sex with men. Same sex pairings in Islafar is punishable by imprisonment and sometimes death. He doesn't dare risk having sex with anyone from his own world and jeopardize his life so summons demons for sex when the need arises. Demons live on a different plane and they are only there to serve out the sex contract that Ivriah his written and then they immediately return to the [...]

    6. Book provided by and reviewed for affaire de coeur.Ivriah, a powerful battle mage had just returned home after combat. Despite being exhausted and covered in blood he decided to use the sigil in his room to summon a demon to service his baser needs. Same-sex coupling was illegal in Islafar and if found out he would be severely punished. Only, when the demon arrived it turned out to be the demon he usually summoned in battle, Orajin. He was fast and had great fighting skills, but was not the demo [...]

    7. The first half of "Slip of the Tongue", and I mean exactly 50% or 37 pages out of 74 is PWP. I am surprised there are no warnings :( The other half, however is about (view spoiler)[torture, murder, saving lover's life, magic and bonding for ever and ever. Luckily, I am very much into all of those things :) (hide spoiler)]3 stars.

    8. Again, the ending was abrupt. But other than that, I rather liked it. I still have a little issue visualizing certain physical features the author described, but w/e, I guess
