    1. THIS BOOK WAS FREAKING FANTASTIC, I HAVE NO MORE WORDS. I CAN'T EXPLAIN HOW I'M FEELING RIGHT NOW, I CANT EVEN WRITE THIS REVIEW BUT DAMN THAT WAS ONE HELL OF A BOOK! This was worth having to stay up all night! Loved every second of it.I was crying buckets when i thought the unthinkable happened. The way the bloody sick freaks made Ana choose between her mum and dad made me fume.“Easy, tigress,” he drawled in a tone dripping with dark, manly sexiness. “All that blushingcan’t be good for [...]

    2. Let me start by saying that if you loved this book, beware, because you are not going to like how this review goes down. Okay so you know those horror movies where there is a young girl alone in her house, and a thunderstorm knocks out the power, right after the radio flicks on saying that there is a crazy murderer on the loose. Then the girl hears noises coming from the basement, and she thinks “hmmm well my house is isolated out in the middle of the woods where nobody can hear me scream, my [...]

    3. Hot damn she did it again. First Warnings: This was given to me in exchange for an honest review and, honesty is what I do. Cool? Cool. Let's get started then. Song Choice: "Haunt You Everyday" by Weezer - I just couldn't resist, "All This and Heaven Too" Florence and the Machine, "Crystalised" by The xxFirst thoughts: I thought this was a spectacular book. There was a bit of chills, thrills, and all around a good time ;). There were also to list a few things: gender-confused cats, a schmexy mal [...]

    4. Also found on: Book-BoyfriendsSo Airicka has them all: Spencer, Adam, Octavian (*sigh* Octavian) and now Rafe Seriously, with those guys coming from my head I wouldn't want to live in reality anymore But now let's get to Betraying Innocence. The first thing I want to say is: I have to be honest here, whenever I checked for the book I just couldn't get myself to actually buy it. I don't even know why, but I had it on my wish list instead. I was really glad when Airicka offered free copies and I [...]

    5. Where does one start with the awesomeness that was Betraying Innocence by Airicka Phoenix? I have faithfully read and followed Airicka’s books from the beginning and I am truly enjoying watching her growth as an amazing storyteller. Betraying Innocence was not what I expected it to be. I’ve read the teasers, the synopsis, and was not prepared for the amazing book that I read. We’re introduced to Ana, our heroine as she just relocates to a new town, a new home, a new start. She’s left beh [...]

    6. Ok so yeah, um a perk of my life is getting awesome books like this in exchange for my honest opinion. I am going to tell you exactly how I felt reading this. I just finished it and my heart is still pounding in my chest, my breathe is a bit stag hard and I still want more. Ok so maybe I'm a bit dramatic but I never said I wasn't. ;) I'm actually a bit of a scary cat when it comes to scary things. I was hesitant to read this for that fact alone but being a huge fan of Airicka Phoenix and being t [...]

    8. Once again I am ENTHRALLED by Airicka's brilliance!! She always outdoes herself with each book she writes and this one is no different, Rafe holy hotness balls!!! Loved him and his yummyiness, "Rafe - he was another story. He was making no effort at all to cover the miles of golden flesh bared to the night. The button and fly of his jeans were undone, parted dangerously into shadows - no boxer band." Yeppers our boy likes his boys to roam the wilderness. And he's quirky boy oh boy I love that in [...]

    9. Airicka Phoenix never stops to amaze me with every book she writes I become entranced, pulled in and never wanting to leave the book alone and trust me Betraying Innocence is no different. I became so vested in this story I lost track of time and what day it was I didn't care my only thought was dang here I go again. The scenes in this book play out so well that you really feel like you are there right in the middle of it all as it swirls all around your head as you try to put the pieces of it a [...]

    10. Another awesome book by Airicka Phoenix!I am not one for reading scary books or books that contain ghost,it's just not my thing. However, there was no way I could pass up an Airircka Phoenix book. She is a totally writing rock-star. Betraying Innocence reels you in and captivates your total attention. And of course she conjured up another hot book bad boy. As far as bad boys go,Rafe is at the top of the list. He is a delinquent and uses girls for just one thing. Ana is a sweet an innocence girl wh [...]

    11. Betraying Innocence by Airicka Phoenix is a spooky thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Ana and her family move to a small town and Ana soon discovers that there's something strange going on in their new house. Ana is being haunted by the ghost of a teen who lived there years ago. Ana and Rafe, her neighbor and boyfriend, begin to investigate what happened to the boy and they encounter dangers from more than just the ghost.I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down. It w [...]

    12. Wow I don't even know what to write about this book Lets just say Airicka Phoenix has done it again by writing a book that absolutely sucks you in and you cant seem to put it down Next lets talk about Rafe When does she not write a hot sexy man. Ana moves into a small town and stumbles upon Rafe in her back yard behind the bushes having fun with a girl. The things he says will just make you blush all over and wish he was talking to you. Ana is more of the good girl next door and lets just say he [...]

    13. Everything this woman writes is gold. I knew we would have another winner/ bestseller on our hands. Airicka really knows how to write scenes that make you feel like you are there with the characters, and she can write some pretty sexy book boys as well! Another thing she does well is suspense and terrifiying situations. I literally felt sick reading about what happened to the Mayor's son. Read this in the dark, i dare you!

    14. Also posted on: The Shadow RealmMs Phoenix can't seem to do wrong. With every book of hers I read I just become more and more in awe of her brilliance. This book was just full of awesome and had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through.I think this is the first horror book I have read and I have to say it was quite freaky. All the things that were happening gave me the creeps. I was half tempted to sleep with the lights on after reading it. I got through it fairly quickly as I was glued f [...]

    15. What do you do when there are no words that come to mind when trying to write a review for an author you completely adore? When you feel all has been said before at one time or another? There are no words I have not already said in my previous reviews written for one of Airicka Phoenix's books. She's utterly amazing, no doubt about it she's talented! Furthermore she rocks your world when you find yourself so deeply captured by one of her books nothing (not even a small house fire) can make you c [...]

    16. Betraying Innocence by Airicka Phoenix is a topnotch thriller/paranormal mystery. This strongest aspect of this story was the way the story involved and the suspense built. Another thing in the book's favor was the fact that the back text didn't give away too much of the story. Ana is a city girl who moves to a suburban town in British Columbia. The first night in the new house Ana can't sleep and she sees a ghost standing by the pond in her backyard. When she goes to investigate she adds up acc [...]

    17. I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I can honestly say this book was AMAZING!!Betraying Innocents was a perfect Halloween read filled with mystery, horror, ghosts and and of course a nice love story. Once again Airicka Phoenix has given the world a gift with her beautifully written words. This book was wonderful! 18. Wow! What a ride! I read this book while my baby was in the NICU and I need something to pass my time. Airicka is amazing on how everything she writes just grabs you and sucks you into the world she has created. This book scared me to death at times and I actually had to read another book before retiring for the night. There something to be said about reading a scary story like this while alone in a dark room of an old and creaky hospital. Eek!! This being said, I absolutely loved this book and [...]

    19. The whole ghost haunting concept really caught my attention and so I decided to give this book a try. Starting out I had a bad feeling about this one into the first 100 pages; so I put it aside and after a while came back. I really tried, I did. More and more as I read, there were many moments that I was just likeand later followed to thisand thisfinally this

    21. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book!! I haven't read a book like this since I started reading again. As a teenager suspense and mysteries were my favorite and this book made me remember why. Airicka Phoenix has a way with words and descriptions that makes you feel like you are right there watching the story unfold as a part of it. I can't wait to read more from her! This is a great murder mystery with a nice love story worked in. Great job Airicka!!

    22. O.M.G. Rafe Excuse me while I swoon. That boy had me from the moment he said "Would you like me to drop them?"I was definitely hooked from the very beginning and was not left disappointed. 25. You get a package deal in “Betraying Innocence” - horror, mystery and romance more or less seamlessly interwoven into this YA storyline. And it ends without a sequel!

    26. See my full review at Shaytasticbooks<>Like my Facebook PageFirst I must say that I really think you should read this book!!! It is a hidden gem that most people would pass over but really. It's Amazing!! Seriously!!! Go get it now!!!This is the first novel I have read by Airicka and it won't be my last. Betraying Innocence was very well written with really lovable characters. While it is a paranormal teen, it is so much more then that. Ana is a simple girl to move to this small town (whic [...]

    28. As some know I am one of Aircka Phoenix’s biggest fans. I absolutely love her books. Unfortunately it pains me that I had to give this one 4 stars. I don’t know why but it took me forever to get sucked into this book. Normally I am hooked by the first chapter. With this one I was about chapter 5 when I decided to put it down and take a nap with my daughter. But once I got sucked in that was all she wrote. Needless to say kids had pizza for dinner because I didn’t want to put it down.Ana wa [...]

    29. A fantastic read! Normally I don't do suspense/ghost stories (I can't take suspense) but I've read a lot of Airicka Phoenix's other books and have always been impressed so I knew this book would be well worth the read. I was definitely not disappointed. This book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I've said it before but I'll say it again. Airicka has the way of completely drawing you into her stories until you completely forget the world around you and are utterly convinced your lif [...]

    30. I have to admit, when I first read the description for Betraying Innocence I wasn't really sure I'd made the right choice in buying it.Boy, was I wrong!Betraying Innocence has definitely made my top five favourite books and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to EVERYONE I know. Although it had the romantic aspect in it that I love so much, there was none of the 'miscommunications' like so many YA books seem to have and I found myself swooning over Rafe and Ana's relationship. It was differen [...]
