    1. Peter Arpesella has accomplished something quite unique with "Good Like This." He has managed to not only write a compelling book with believable characters, he has also educated the reader about Type 1 Diabetes in an fascinating way. But, it's more than that. He tackles additions of all sorts, the social masks people put on every day, and takes an honest look at the difficult topic of self-destruction.     2. My first reaction after reading this book was that not only is it a well written, intriguing story but also an important one. I've never read a story that had a type 1 diabetic as the lead character, which I found really interesting. Also what the author did in regards to comparing a badly managed diabetic with an addict, (another character in the book) I thought was brilliant. It held my interest and took me on a journey, which is exactly what I want from a book. I highly recommend!

    3. An interesting novel that gives the reader a look into the challenges of living with Type 1 Diabetes. I learned a lot while enjoying this book. The finale is filled with suspense. I was on the edge of my seat for the last 50 pages!
