    1. Too many secondary characters To many secondary characters cluttered up the plot and RomancE. Skimmed half the book. Protagonist came out of left field

    2. Originally posted on Adria's Romance ReviewsWhat does a well bred, spirited and highly intelligent woman have in common with a low born pugilist? They both feel out of place in their respective worlds.Wynne Bedegrayne is easily the most beautiful of the Bedegrayne family and though she doesn't lack for admirers, she has a reputation among society for being cold-hearted when she's the total opposite. Warm, caring and defiant, Wynne has never met her match and is resigned to becoming a spinster wh [...]

    3. I am thoroughly enjoying this Bedegrayne family. Therefore, I’m hoping updated versions of the last two books will be forthcoming soon. Now that I’ve gotten to know Devona and Wynne, older brother Brock totally intrigues me, and after reading about the trauma Devona’s friend Lady A’Court goes through in this book, I’m really looking forward to her finding love as well as peace and safety. There’s never a moment’s idleness in this series, that’s for sure.Wynne is neck deep in her [...]

    4. This romance had it all with an illegitimate son of a Duke who becomes a famous fighter with raging revenge flowing through his veins, a heroine with one foot in society & the other in the Eastend of London savings all she could, a Aunt Fairy Godma who looks at person's heart not their pedigree, the legitimate son of the Duke wanting the same woman, too many over protective males, a yummy masquerade, villains afoot, great SISTERmance & ever a near death via lions. The only thing Mizz Bar [...]

    6. Almost rated as DNF; skimmed most of this book. It was implausible for me to see Wynne with Keanan. They really had nothing in common. Lots of action, just like previous book, but it just didn't fit the story.
