    1. 3.25 starsWreckedis the story of Evie, a college student repeating her freshman year at another school because of all the mistakes she had made the previous year. A music major, Evie is partnered up with a mentor who will help coach her through voice lessons. But she has a problem. Evie has met Rhys, her mentor. before and he doesn't remember her. But he is connected to one of the worst moments of her lifeI enjoyed reading this book, but a number of aspects about it made the book fall flat. For [...]

    2. Title:Wrecked Series: StandaloneAuthor:Emily Snow Release Date:, 2014Rating:2.5 starsCliffhanger:No HEA:(view spoiler)[Yes(hide spoiler)]I've been waiting on this book for a while and I thought for sure that it would be something I would enjoy. Both the hero and heroine are musicians, there's seemed to be a little bit of angst in it, and I have enjoyed this author in the past. Unfortunately, this book fell through in grabbing my emotions for the characters. I felt bored through much of the book [...]

    3. Good Story, But Not GreatI don't have too much to say about this story. It just didn't make a strong impression, one way or the other. It was a sweet, young adult romance. The story was okay, the characters were alright and it was entertaining enough. For whatever reason, I just never really felt very connected to the characters. Maybe the 19 year old angst and drama was just too difficult for me to relate toEssentially, Evie transfers to a new college after flunking out at her last school, and [...]

    4. This was me during this book:Was I crying tears of heartbreak or emotion? No, I was simply bored to tears. Literally. Against my better judgement after Consumed (it sucked), I decided to give Ms. Snow one more chance. She has now been placed on my Abbi Glines list. I wish her luck in the future. I just can't buy anymore of her books.

    5. 2,5 starsI have read some really great books by this author, but Wrecked was a bit of a disappointment for me. It's a sweet YA romance which did not make a huge impression to me.I didn't feel that the two main characters had a connection or chemistry with each other. I liked Rhys more than Evee started to annoy me to no endl her angst and drama. The story moved at a slow pace and hell, did it take ages and ages before the big REVEAL is finally here!!!! And the usage of the word WRECKEDwhat was th [...]

    6. Adding this to the TBR! It sounds really good! The blurb says this is a standalone about a girl who is starting fresh in a new university after her whole life went downhill Then Rhys, her new voice instructor, happens. He’s gorgeous and insanely talented, but he’s the last person she should want because he's also a part of the dark past she's trying to get away from

    7. This book was really fast paced and I couldn't put it down. There were a few parts that made me laugh and parts that made me sad - I felt so bad for Evie. I really loved Rhys and Evelyn together and there was definitely some steam. My only minor complaint is that I really wish there was an epilogue - I wasn't ready for the book to end. Highly recommend!

    8. This was the first book I've read by Emily Snow and don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad but I had a total different expectation after reading the blurb. I wanted angst, raw emotions, struggle just more feelings throughout the book - but all this, I didn't really get.The writing was good but I wasn't really glued to my kindle. The blurb, the prologue, and even some of the flashbacks were promising but all this fell short because Evelyn and Rhys 'relationship' didn't take over the majority of the boo [...]

    10. I like to leave reviews in a way that I would want to read a review of the book so here it goes. First of all, this is a stand alone book. No cliffhanger. We only get one point of view. We see the story through Evie's eyes. This story had me in knots. Rhys will make you fall in love with him. He is so sweet and patient. Evie was a bit difficult for me to understand. To be honest I didn't even like her most of the time. I understand that she is struggling majorly with her sister's death, but she [...]

    11. This book could have been much better. It moved so slow! I kept waiting for the big reveal and it took forever. It took forever for the two mc's to act on their feelings for each other. And Evie,I just wasn't sure about her. But Rhys,He was to die for. So overall, 3 stars. It wasn't tragic but it wasn't stellar.

    12. There was a lot of good to this story, Evie was a strong and fun character and Rhys was swoonworthy hot, but I just didn't feel a strong connection to these characters, or their connection to each other. Too much of the story seemed glossed over or skipped. A bit rushed maybe? Or maybe it was just my mood when reading it. I love Emily Snow and I've always loved her books but this one just fell a bit flat for me. I'd still recommend it as a light read though.

    13. Sweet story Probably closer to 3.5 stars but all the stories gave the same formula Still enjoyed it for an afternoon read while my son was napping

    14. And she's BACK!!!! I loved this new standalone by Emily Snow - though I am biased and love everything she has ever written :)This is a captivating story of Evie, who for the past two years wrecks everything in her life, but is now in a new college trying to move past the hurts of her past and start living life again. Ever since her sister Lily died, Evie has felt an enormous sense of guilt and in turn ruins anything good in her life and self destructing.Realizing that she needs to move past this [...]

    15. The blurb pulls you in immediately so I had to grab this and read it ASAP. I'm glad I did! I picked this up a few hours ago and couldn't put it down.Reading Evie and Rhys' story was beautiful. Both of them are blaming themselves for the tragic accident that ruined their families and it was heartbreaking because they shouldn't have been dealing with that guilt. They didn't plan on it happening yet they feel like they're to blame. After losing Lily, Evie's sister, Evie started wrecking things. She [...]

    16. Gosh! Great book! Two broken people dealing with the fallout of a tragedy that occurred two years previously. Their history is intertwined and fate brings them into each other's lives.Evie is just getting her life back on track and living in guilt. She's just started at a new college after spending her previous year at another college in a drunken haze and lost her scholarship.Rhys is gorgeous and talented. He's dealing with family issues. Unbeknownst to him, he's met Evie before. She remembers [...]

    17. Wrecked follows the life of Evie after her sister dies in a terrible, tragic accident. Going to school far from home is supposed to take her troubles away. However, once Rhys (pronounced Reese) walks into her school she knows she is in trouble. What follows is a couple of months of want and need on both Rhys and Evie’s part until finally they come together. But her past is soon to catch up with her as these two are linked in a serious way,This book was a quick read for me. I actually finished [...]

    18. This story really makes me contemplate why people lie. It's the same old story some one lies to some one else or holds back on telling some one the truth only for the other person to find out the truth in the end any way. Leading me to the conclusion of why do it in the first place. We all know the truth will inevitably come out so why not just do it in the first place. Evie and Rhys are two people that are hiding from a pain from the past. Evie's trying to deal with the fact that she feels like [...]

    19. This was not an easy read due to the series of events, death and guilt. It was a great read though. Heartbreaking series of events that lead 2 strangers who are more connected than they think. Life has funny way of throwing 2 people together.I loved the way the book moved and I loved the heat between Evelyn and Rhys. It was a pretty incredible heat that the 2 of them felt for each other. The darkness that was lurking was waiting at every corner and the story had me totally connected as I turned [...]

    20. I absolutely loved this story! I loved that there was a history between Evie and Rhys and how that came into play with the whole storyline. Evie is a young girl and trying to figure out how to make everything right after she has destroyed everything for so long. She is strong and able to see past her present to where she wants to be and I think this has so much to do with what she has experienced in her life. Rhys also has so much going on with his brother being who he is and dealing with the co [...]

    21. Evelyn is broken or in her words wrecked. She starts a new college because she was so wrecked literally drunk that she failed out of her first semester of her previous one. So enrolling in another school where she wanted to be inconspicuous and not know anyone was her goal. She wanted to be numb. Her heart was wrecked. But her past comes to haunt her. She meets Rhys a man who she met once before. Someone she did not want to see again. But with his help maybe her heart would heal. The story is sad [...]

    22. I WISH THIS BOOK WERE LONGER!!!!!!!!I need to find out what happens when Evie's mom and Rhys meet for the first time; what happens to her relationship with her dad. Do you hear me Emily Snow? I NEED MORE!!!!!Seriously, what a wreck, but a good one. I couldn't figure out what was up or down during some parts of it. Part of me wished she had told Rhys who she was upfront and they worked through their relationship that way. Clearly, this way made for better writing. I wanted to punch her dad. The e [...]
