She was being sent back to America to a father she hadn't seen in over twenty years. First she has to overcome seasickness on the boat trip and being in third class quarters.     2. I enjoyed this story but in reading the Kindle version, I found multiple grammar mistakes that I believe are due to poor editing. I don't recall there being very many in the first two books of this series.
