    1. This review is based on a free copy supplied by the publisher through the First read program.I don't think there was a normal character in this book. Everyone of them has a twist or a quirk which means they are a well oiled group with no leader or followers, they just stumble around a lot.The main character is career bachelor Randall Owen who finds himself linked into a murder for hire schemeRandall finds himself questioning right from wrong, uncertain of which is which. It kind of reminds me o [...]

    2. Thank you to the Author and for this book received through the First Reads giveaway in exchange for an honest review. All the non-stop action made this a fun book to read! Something about the book made me think of the movie Ocean's Eleven, on a smaller scale (old friends getting together to "take care of business"). The author wrote a clever story and I think The Lovely Chocolate Mob is well suited for teens as well as adults young and old. This would be a great "made for TV" movie for teens, in [...]

    3. This book was such a surprise. I really didn't know what to expect from the title (even less from the cover), but after reading it I guess it's the most accurate posible.I'm very fond of how organic all of the characters feel. It's like I've met someone like all them at some point of my life. The group of friends that carry out all the action feel convincing and real. They seem so chill you would love to hang out with them if they didn't get involved into such gruesome plans later on.I was so ex [...]

    6. This book was hilarious and weird and has not one boring second in it! I was not sure what to expect and was surprised how much fun I had reading this book. The characters were strange odd fellows but believable and mostly likable. There were some really mad twists and the showdown was marvelous. If you can enjoy a wildly entertaining story without challenging its logic or credibility this is a definite must read.

    7. A very hard book to put down. Very interesting characters with a plot that twists and turns keeping you forever on the edge of your seat.

    8. What a "lovely" book to read!! The author packed it with many elements it's hard to place it in any 1 category except that it was a delight to read There were bits of adventure, romance ( past, present & future), mystery, spy, a small bit of religion ( not preachy but more to describe main character) & I'm sure I've missed some other elements in here, all in 1 bookIt wasn't a traditional mystery where you start off with a murder or other "problem" & then the remainder of book being " [...]
