    1. When the new Valiant emerged from the ashes of the bankruptcy of the old Valiant/Acclaim, I was intrigued by the first two titles from the line, X-O Manowar and Bloodshot. These titles were well received and headlined by capable creators, but it wasn't until when new Valiant relaunched Archer & Armstrong with Fred Van Lente attached that I was excited to try a new title from this company.Van Lente wrote some of my favorite comics, like Incredible Hercules and I was excited at what he would b [...]

    2. There is a certain contempt for humans - especially religious ones - that adds extra annoyance for me. I know Obadiah using "flipping bullcorn" as his expletive of choice is supposed to be funny, but I just think it's stupid, and I find the opening sequence offensively white-washed.

    3. Archer & Armstrong #1 was truly special. Fred Van Lente's story was well written, the adaptation was brilliant with the humor it added, and the audio mix does a really great job of immersing you in the story without any visual cues. The performances were also great, with Pete Milan's Armstrong, Melissa Autumn Hearne's Mary-Maria, and Jack Calk's Ivar being very faithful to the characters. For me though, the biggest standout was Paul Brueggemann's Obadiah Archer. As a religious person, I fully [...]

    4. This is currently the best Valiant Book. It seems is written by Grant Morrison, the villains are bizarre and funny, the conspiracy theories are really funny and the Anni Pada brothers are three of the most cool characters in comics since 1992 (Eternal Warrior, Timewalker and Armstrong). If you have to read just one comic Book series in your life, this must be your choice. I mean, a religious fanatic with super powers trying to kill an inmortal drunk, are you gonna miss it?

    5. Pendant Audio and Valiant Comics are an Outstanding team with this. I will now get the comic book digitally at comixology
