    3. A very intriguing mysteryI am not so sure this is a true mystery. Most of the mysteries in this book are solved or at least alluded to before it's over. But this is a fantastic story about money, power and greed. There is romance, power struggles and hillbilly humor. Add in a moonshine operation an alcoholic disgraced detective turned private investigator and you have yourself a do not miss novel.     4. Read this puppy in 2 days. Very easy to read, excellent characters (a usual for Mr. Deas), and it always kept me guessing. If you want a quick, fun, and enjoyable mystery then Private Eye is the book for you.
