    1. Unlike anything I've readThis was refreshingly different from anything else I've read, and a wonderful and enchanting follow up to Sea dweller. I wanted to binge on the whole book. I never wanted to put it down. Now I'm sad that it is over and I have to wait and see what happens next. Melanie!!!! Hurry up! And good job

    2. I love reading novels where the main character is someone I can admire. The heroin of this story is relatable but also you can admire her for the total determination to do what she needs to and not backing down or allowing others to manipulate her. That is what stood out to me as well as the rich sensory descriptions in the book. An absolutely great clean young adult read.
