    1. I thoroughly appreciate Larsen’s writing style. The way that she mixes real life trials along with faith, without ever preaching at her audience, is brilliant. Layer this with her well put together storyline and remarkably visual descriptions and you have a very fulfilling novel.Larsen’s complex yet approachable characters will definitely call to you. She develops both of her main characters in such a manner that you not only know where they came from but can also understand how they, eventu [...]

    2. This was a truly amazing story of inner demons, faith and love. While this story is fictional, I have to believe the underlying idea of it are not; a person who has been released from prison and wants to live his life following a better path. That was Jeremy's motivation. The trick was convincing society that he had changed, namely those in his town whose lives he had destroyed.Enter Emma, who has a VERY personal connection to Jeremy's past. With her moral compass pointing due north, she forces h [...]

    3. Larsen continues this series but this time focuses on Jeremy and his situation. I like how Larsen subtly challenges people to give other people second chances. Jeremy had spent time in prison and was released. Through her book you see how difficult the transition from prison back into society can be. For brevity's sake, some story lines were not as developed as I would like. People and situations seemed to come out of nowhere and leave just as quickly. One person that we meet and get to know pre [...]

    4. This was a box set of books 1-3 of Pawley's Island Paradise --Road Trip to Redemption, Tide to Atonement, and Journey to Fulfillment. The books revolve around a family members with relational problems because one son spent ten years in prison, although he is now a model citizen and starting his own business. It is a beautiful story of faith, love, forgiveness, and what God can accomplish if you let Him be your guide. There is no preaching, but a couple of characters have some very sage advice on l [...]

    5. Encouraging Such a wonderful read. Really enjoyed the growth of each character. I was really encouraged by Jeremy’s determination to keep God first.

    6. I am really sad to say that after finishing the book just a few minutes ago, I was very disappointed with it. Her first book, Roadtrip to Redemption, Book 1 of the Pawleys Island Paradise was amazing! I really enjoyed it and read it pretty quickly. Tide to Atonement took me 5 days to read it. It was hard to get into the book because I was rather bored with it.The book was very predictable. The story starts off with Jeremy being released from prison and has an appointment with his parole officer, [...]

    7. Readers of Christian inspirational romance -- I hope you'll discover this series and fall in love with it. Tide to Atonement is Book 2, following Roadtrip to Redemption. The characters and setting that you loved in "R2R" are back in "T2A". If you love the beach like I do, you'll want to get on the ground level of this series. I wrote part of these books AT the beach, and I set them in a place my family went every summer for family reunions when I was a kid. I found myself drawing on my vivid mem [...]

    8. This one was only okay. I think I would have been fine just reading the first one and not reading this one. I liked the plot, but I wasn't sure if I liked what Laurie did with it this time. Quick read.

    9. Great STORY!Wonderful too see the power of God and His ability to change lives! I pray this story will inspire those who need a fresh start in life!

    10. Another great bookfrom this author. She has again proven that it's possible to write a passionate love story without the couple falling into bed at the first opportunity.
