    2. My favorite part of the book was toward the middle when the discussion began about eastern Europe. I really enjoyed the author's end depth descriptions of the places and people she met.I felt the books first few chapters were slightly touristy. As a well traveled person, I felt that section difficult to bear. Overall a good read.
