    1. I received a copy of “Dead Wrong” A Samantha Church Mystery by Betta Ferrendelli, in exchange for an honest review. This is the third book in the Samantha Church Mystery series of books, and they keep getting better. In the first novel, “The Friday Edition”, Robin, Sam’s sister, an Assistant DA, had been working to expose a drug smuggling operation, and had died during the process, and Sam, a reporter for Grandview Perspective, in Denver, Colorado, had finished the business her sister s [...]

    2. The Samantha Church series is s full of surprising turns and twists you don't see coming. The stories are strong and so well written that I am unable to read them at night. Heartpounding, breath holding stories that probably have more truth to them than we really want to think about. In book three, Samantha's character again comes out strong that you feel her strengths as well as her flaws. Your heart races hoping help gets to her in time. All three books are so believable. I hope there is a book [...]

    3. One Final Tag – A review of the novel ‘Dead Wrong’“Death ends a life, not a relationship” ― Mitch AlbomAuthor Betta Ferrendelli’s latest novel ‘Dead Wrong’ is the third book in the Samantha Church Mystery series of books. Ace reporter Samantha Church is back to her sleuthing ways in this edition, trying to uncover the secrets behind the mysterious happenings in a mortuary. Still recuperating from the physical and emotional toils of her previous adventure, Sam unwittingly finds [...]

    4. In Betta Ferrendelli's third book documentation of the sleuthing prowess of one Samantha Church, there's a surprise: the local mortuary may be involved in the sinister crime of harvesting dead body parts, dismembering corpses to sell body parts on the black market - in itself a seeming incongruity, because most who know about organ harvesting know that time is of the essence; and by the time a body arrives at a mortuary, it may be too late for profits. Or, is it?As Sam and her young mortuary wor [...]

    5. A good quick readSam Church is a reporter for a small weekly newspaper in a small town. Sam noses out the dirt and doesn't always come away from reporting without a lump or two she is a recovering alcoholic and a mother trying to get custody of her daughter. There are good characters and plot lines in Samantha Church series.

    6. A great book but not for the faint of heartThis is the last in the Samantha Church mystery series. Samantha is an investigative journalist who lost her job at the Denver Post due to her alcoholism. She lost custody of her daughter to her ex-husband for the same reason, and after her husband's death, her ex mother-in-law, who lives on an island in the Pacific Northwest, far from Sam's home in the Denver area, gained custody of Sam's daughter April. Sam now works at a small local weekly newspaper [...]

    7. Cliffhanger Book 3 follows the path of Samantha the overzealous reporter who has had her share of heartaches and disappointments. Previously she lost her ex husband and her sister who were involved on opposite sides ofA drug cover up. She wrote the story of her career. She, along with her boss and daughter were kidnapped by drug lords. I'd say she'd had a hard life. In this sequel she under covers shady dealings at a local mortuary with the help of a young informant. We never know for sure what [...]

    8. This is one of those mysteries that sort of sneaks up on you and grasps your full attention. Is the third in the Samantha Church mysteries and my first. Really liked Samantha and her recovery from addiction and loss of her daughter. Also liked the character of Abby Love who tells Sam of her suspicion that evil is goin on the funeral home business where she and her partner pick up deceased ones for the business. Thus begins an investigation with Sam And Abby into a murderous group. Sam is an inve [...]

    9. I really enjoyed this book. It took me a while to read it because of life events, but once I really got into it, I finished it within a couple days. Even though this is the 3rd in the series, it's easy to pick up and read by itself. This being the only book I've read thus far in the series, I really want to read more. I found the book well written, characters well developed. It draws you into the story with the characters and makes you root for them. It leaves you trying to figure out who-dun-it [...]

    10. Very disappointingI like the character of Sam Church, but having read the last 2 books, I was disappointed in having much more foul language in this one. It will be the last one I read of this author. It seems the author thinks foul language is necessary. If you don't mind foul language, the plot is good, the foul words were unnecessary.

    11. A lot of, not boring, details that allow the reader to see what the characters are seeing. Likable characters that do things that just don't fit in with the action, but in the end are necessary to round out the plot. An enjoyable reading experience that is summed up quickly.FTC stuff; I received this book as a , Firstreads contest winner.

    12. I downloaded this ebook knowing it was #3. I didn't have too much trouble coming into the third novel. I really enjoyed the characters and the book and will continue with this series. There aren't many mystery series that I follow because I hate the silly ones that think it is so cute and they try to be funny and end up turning me off. I'll be anxious to get #4.

    13. Dead Wrong (A Samantha Church Mystery Book 3)Great read. So many twist and turns for Sam. The horrible events that Sam, with the help of Abby uncovered at a funeral home. Abby has disappeared and Sam refuses to believe she has died at the hands of those involved. Will she be found alive. I was hoping there was a book 4.

    14. Great writingI just read the 3 books in this series back to back. I need more of this storyline. Great writing that gets you involved with the characters. Can't wait for the next book.

    15. This was my first experience with Samantha Church and she was such an interesting character that I had to go back and find the first two series entries. A small town news report, Ms. Church involves herself in some interesting murder cases. The book was well written and held my interest.

    16. Excellent writingRead all three books in this series and could not put it down great read, excellent story plot. Can't wait for the next book.
