    1. Carbon is the first volume of an independent comic by Madson, a guy whose work Jonathan and Laura introduced me to. I lived in Wisconsin for a few years, so I tend to gravitate to dark Wisconsin stories, such as Revival, written by Tim Seeley and illustrated by Mike Norton, and others. This one, Madson drawing and writing and lettering himself, features a dystopian town where people with psychic abilities, seers, seem to be killed off by someone or someones for some reason.     2. This was pretty good and if I ever happen to also find the second volume in the $5 bin I'll buy that one too.

    3. I love Justin Madson's artwork, in particular I'm a big fan of his graphic novel, Breathers. This new graphic novel features a dystopian urban society where humans with strange powers are being murdered. I highly recommend Carbon or any of Madson's other books for that matter.
