    4. it was nice how at the end the girl was finally smiling and she gave the clamp school detective chocolates because she really liked him but she kept it to herself because he never noticed her

    5. A trio of impossibly perfect sixth graders solve "mysteries" related to the unhappiness of any "damsels in distress" they come across. Look, I'm willing to suspend disbelief, but I draw the line at hanging it until it stops twitching. There is nothing interesting about perfect characters, even when a few superficial personality quirks are shoehorned in. I admit the series makes no secret of what's in store. The book description is upfront about the Mary Sue nature of the leads, and other charact [...]

    6. Clamp School Detectives is a manga that certainly has its place, but lacks anything unique or particularly well done to make it stand out. Also, unlike with Clamp School Defenders, it's not really referencing anything in particular that I can tell. As a result, it's cute and occasionally awkward, but not a series I'd miss if I never read it again. The series follows Nokoru, Suoh and Akira, who lead the Elementary School division at Clamp School. Nokoru's smart and rich, Suoh's strong and agile, a [...]

    7. 1992 drawing style but such dynamic characters - I can see why manga captured the hearts of so many readers and up and coming artists who furthered the art.Nokoru is a very precocious 6th grader with a rich, out of his mind father. He's a little ladies man who loves all and always has a grandiose scheme. He has two friends Suoh, who is the only one who can tell him no but rarely does and Akira, an eager to help younger boy who looks up to the other two. They solve cases and they were very fun an [...]

    8. This is a sweet story of three elementary school boys (approx. 9, 10, and 11 years old) that start up a detective agency in their school. The oldest is very rich so more often then not uses his financial wealth to speed up the case solving, as they take on a variety of cases to help "damsels in distress". There isn't much danger in the cases they take on and it's pretty obvious early on that they are going to solve the case. The personalities of the three as well as other characters they encount [...]

    9. I love this manga. I wish they made it around 10 volumes, though X kinda ruined the fantasy They're one of the earliest bishonen I've oogled on and the stories are marvelous. For those who haven't heard, there's a one-chapter shounen-ai themed spin-off where two characters from RG Veda (Asura I think) and another one I forgot, they reincarnated and fell in love. They're both teachers of CLAMP high and the three boys are in high school.

    10. It was okay. The first few were cute, but by the end I was glad to go on to something else. The artwork is very dated looking (i.e. the style is immediately recognizable as being done in the 1990s) but otherwise good and easy to follow. It is very formulaic, but then that's just the nature of manga since it's typically published in a serial fashion in magazines.

    11. Too silly for me. I admit that I can't suspend my disbelief that much anymore. I did like the idea better than the execution. I know that this is a series for kids but compared to Clamp's later works for children, this was just way too silly. Though I did like Suoh's dry sense of humor, his comments on Nokoru's antics were the best part of this manga.

    13. I was pleasantly surprised by this manga after not enjoying Duklyon, as they are set in the same CLAMP universe. This manga has a much better story also I liked the characters and how they interacted with each other much better. Plus Nokoru being able to detect a woman in distress 2km away is cute and funny :-)!

    14. I own this. And I reread it and. was boring? The characters were similar to other Clamp books and just they weren't engaging. The mystery element would have to be more intense to make this work.

    15. Cute little mini-series. I like the idea of the super smart, super cute, super good middleschool boys at the giant school. Nice artwork by CLAMP, as usual. Not for people looking for a serious read. This is definitely fluff. But enjoyable fluff. :)

    16. this series is fantastic! i loved it. it has a similar humour to d.n. angel. but it's so cute and fun!

    17. Definitely at the low end of the CLAMP spectrum (and dear heaven, the girls' CLAMP Campus uniforms are hideous). The only level I really appreciated it on was its connection to X.

    18. Kendati ceritanya bagus, rasanya sulit "diterima" jika anak-anak SD itu memiliki kisah percintaan khas orang dewasa ^_^

    19. I'm making my way through CLAMP works and this makes less sense than magical girl plots. It's extremely unrealistic (the characters are about 10!) and honestly kinda boring

    20. I'm not sure what the story line was even supposed to be about. I tried really hard to get into it, but could never really care about what was going on.

    21. Ahahahak. Kisahnya sangat sederhana, tapi gambar-gambarnya indah, khas CLAMP. Kisah 3 anak kaya keren di sekolah yang juga keren, dimana mereka jadi OSIS-nya.
