    1. I would like to thank Booktrope & Tabitha Caplinger for my copy of the ARC in exchange for an honest review. This book was AWESOME! I could not put it down, LITERALLY! I read it in one sitting hitting panic when I noticed I was reaching the end.Zoe is struck by a horrible accident, her parents are killed in an awful event leaving her aunt as her guardian. If Zoe doesn't have enough to deal with her aunt Claire decides to pack her up and move her from her childhood home, as you can guess it wo [...]

    2. Oh my gosh. This book was fantastic! I received an advanced copy for an honest review, and I'm so glad that I did! From the very beginning, I couldn't put it down. I LOVED the book. It starts with an uncertainty and then a tragedy. But soon, it turns into a young girl having to fight to save her town. Zoe has just lost her parents, and her aunt Claire has become her guardian. She moves her to a different town to protect her from the memories of her past life, but what Claire doesn't realize is t [...]

    3. Fiction is one of my top reads. I LOVE it when it makes me laugh and cry, and THIS book did both. Multiple times. I was so into it the first read that I didn't even hear the laundry buzzer go off or even look up for the first five chapters! I wanted to KNOW more so intriguing and interesting.I saw the author unexpectedly and asked her if she had ever read C.S. Lewis' "The Screwtape Letters," as it kept coming to mind while I readandshe replied, "yes."I KNEW then I had to finish the book THAT wee [...]

    4. I LOVED LOVED LOVED this book! It was exactly the kind of supernatural I have been looking for, and I found myself sucked in from the first page! I love all of the characters, and how they all played there own part in the story. Maggie was great, and it was so nice to see her as the little bit of sunshine in all the craziness Zoe was dealing with! I also loved that the relationship between Zoe and Daniel progressed exactly the way you would expected it to. The writing was beautiful, and so easy [...]

    5. For a long time, I stayed away from this novel. I remember reading a bad review somewhere that slammed the theology in it. Well, I happen to win it in a giveaway Tabitha was doing in celebration of the cover reveal for book two and…I’m so glad that I did not stay in that place of NOT reading it because I seriously enjoyed this story! The sarcasm and snarkiness between Zoe and her Aunt is hilarious. One of the best parts of this story for sure. As a friend of mine mentioned while we read this [...]

    6. The Chronicle of the Three: Bloodline is the first book in a trilogy by the Christian author, Tabitha Caplinger. The story follows Zoe as she discovers there’s more to life than the typical routine of school, friends, and family, and that she belongs to a line of ancient warriors destined to save the world from destruction. Intriguing dialogue, suspenseful action sequences, and strong characterization make this an exceptional story and a fun and exciting read. I recommend The Chronicle of the [...]

    7. True rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars.I kind of don’t know where to start with this book, so I decided to make a list, since lists help when I’m feeling all the feels and thinking all the thoughts. So without further ado, here are five reasons you should read TCO3: Bloodline by Tabitha Caplinger:1.You will not be able to put it down. I’m not just saying that the story and characters and setting keep the reader engaged (that’s important); I’m saying it’s so engaging, there is no good stoppi [...]

    8. This book was so enjoyable to read! So much action and intrigue. The characters were great! You got more than just Zoe's POV; her aunt Claire's POV was written as well. Claire was my favorite too. She's so sassy and fierce and I loved her! Zoe's development in just book one was incredible to see and it definitely adds to the concept this book sits on.That concept was brilliantly done by the way. The demons in this story was symbolic of evil on our world today. And the warriors are symbolic of fo [...]

    9. **read AGAIN in January 2017Another five stars after reading the second time, Caplinger GETS what makes a great story and her sense of humor/faith shines through her characters!!****have to wait for NOVEMBER for this awesome looking book!!! well, am sure it's worth it :) **WHAT a great book! Maggie was my favorite character, she was an amazing friend and made me smile :) Aunt Claire was the coolest aunt ever! Loving, funny, kicks shadow butt, and a great sense of humor despite the intensity of t [...]

    10. Grief-stricken Zoe is forced to leave everything, everyone she loves, behind after the unexpected death of her parents. She packs up her belongings and memories as Aunt Claire takes them to their new home. Taking time to adjust to a new life is expected, but encountering dark forces is not. Torchcreek, Virginia is a place where evil awaits the daughter of the three―Zoe Andrews.I really enjoyed reading this book! The characters were likable, especially Aunt Claire and Zoe. They reminded me of L [...]

    11. I received this book in return for an honest review.Oh how I wish I could give this book five stars. I liked this book, I really did. But the main thing about this book that made me extremely uncomfortable was the relationship between Michael and Claire. I know this is just a book, but Michael is an angel angels are no they there is no "relationship" with them and this book to me seemed like Michael and Claire REALLY wanted to be together and they were battling the feeling through the whole boo [...]

    12. 2.5 out of 5 starsAfter the death of her parents, Zoe has to adjust to a new life, living with her aunt Claire, moving to a new place and having to settle into Torchcreek, and finding out she is actually one of 'the three', a chosen one to save us from the shadowy demons.Bloodline is a Christian fantasy, and I think this was one of the reasons I didn't enjoy it much. The Christian aspects kind of interrupted the flow for me, and even though the story has angels and demons, the other Christian as [...]

    13. I was one of the lucky readers to receive an advance copy of this book. I normally stick to romance and would be one to skip the fantasy section. However this book had it all I compared it to the Da Vinci Code meets Buffy the Vampire Slayer! Great story that had something in it for everyone. I have become attached to the characters and am already looking forward to the next book!!

    14. I found this book to be addicting! I could not put it down, and I am reading it through again! The story came to life through the pages, and I was drawn to the characters because it almost felt like I knew them personally. I cannot wait to read more books by Tabitha!

    15. Review also posted at: underthebookcover4.5/5Thank you to Tabitha Caplinger for providing me with a copy of this book!I came across this book by absolute chance one day and happened to end up winning a wonderful giveaway from the author, Tabitha Caplinger, which included some very cute book swag as well as a copy of this book. It took me a bit to get to, not because I didn't want to read it but because I had several books already in progress, but I'm so happy I was finally able to pick it up. On [...]

    16. I follow Tabitha on Twitter and Facebook, and enjoy our interactions online. She's a character. I'm so very glad this book exceeded my expectations. It was a fun, exciting read and I enjoyed it. I'm going to grab the next one (Armor Bearer) and proceed to harass her about #3.This is nothing like an objective review. Love ya, Tabitha. Keep writing.

    17. MY Goodness what an awesome book. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. Tabitha's writing style keep you on the edge of your seat.

    18. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest reviewThis book lacked depth in a lot of its aspects such as the multiple cliches, bland characters, and underdeveloped plot. The plot really didn't go into much background of anything causing the focal point of this book to be "she's special because she's the chosen one and that's it." I cringed every time the words, "THE CHOSEN ONE" showed up. (and it was a lot) Throughout the book they were pretty much training to fight demons (who [...]

    19. This is a Christian based fantasy. I recommend this for teen, young adults and older, I would allow my daughter to read this book without any hesitation. This story ends with a cliff hanger, but what a great beginning to the next book! I really enjoyed the goodness of this book it had references to God but it did not overtake the story. At first I questioned the connection between Michael and Claire, but I honestly believe that you can have a deep connection to someone without it being sexual. Z [...]

    20. Zoe has recently lost her parents. Now an orphan, her guardianship falls to her aunt Claire. In order to give Zoe a fresh start, away from the memories of her life before, and moves to the small town called Torchcreek. But as it turns out, the move probably wasn’t for the best and Torchcreek is certainly not the small peaceful town they had imagined it to be. Zoe starts to see things that she couldn’t get herself to really believe in. What exactly is going on? What secrets to Torchcreek keep [...]

    21. Voi Dex Publishing was giving away free books, so I thought I would take a gander at what they had to offer. I chose two books and, The Chronicle of Three: Bloodline, by Tabitha Caplinger was one of my choices. The other choice you ask? Ahhh. You will know soon. :)After the death of her parents, Zoe and her Aunt Claire leave Minnesota and move to Torchcreek, Virginia. There is a dark, evil shadow lurking, watching when Zoe is born and that evil presence is in Virginia.I liked this book. It's abo [...]

    22. Zoe has lost her parents in an awful accident and moved, along with her new guardian, Aunt Claire, to a quiet little town to recover. From the beginning things are different and Zoe has to embrace a new take on life that she hadn't anticipated. My initial thought when I read the blurb for this book was yes! I need to read this! There is a religious aspect to this book that I wasn't expecting but I enjoyed this and I felt that the author did well with this part of the storyline. The relationship b [...]

    23. Thrilling and intense with characters I feel like I really know.I should come out and say first that lately I sometimes find 'Christian Fiction' to be sub-par, predictively written and even annoying. Tabitha Caplinger has written a wonderful exception with The Chronicle of the Three: Bloodline. I am now eagerly looking forward to the rest of the books to be released. I feel so invested in the characters in Torch Creek as If I really know them. There was action, mystery, humor and a storyline tha [...]

    24. I read this book twice. I was so caught up in the story that I finished it in one day. Awesome story line that kept my heart racing to see what was going to happen next. So looking forward to reading the next book.

    25. I was given a copy of "The Chronicle of the Three: Bloodline" in exchange for an honest review. This YA fantasy book was a good read. The plot line is pretty original in the sense that it takes real people out of the Old Testament as the basis of the bloodline, but if you are looking for something scriptural, this one probably isn't for you. Though it is about angels and demons, there is very little talk of Church and nothing about the Bible at all. I read it as it was intended, as fiction. I li [...]

    26. Recommended for fans of Frank Peretti and Chuck Black! After her parents' death, teenager Zoe moves with her aunt Claire to the seemingly sleepy town of Torch Creek, Virginia. Zoe tries to settle into her new life. . y to discover that everything is not what it seems. Her days and nights are plagued by visions of menacing shadow warriors.Warriors that may be all too real. And the secrets that her aunt Claire is hiding may destroy them both.Demons and spiritual warfare provide the adrenaline for th [...]

    27. Amazing flow as events start to unfold. Zoe's parents die and she is left in the care of her aunt. When they move to a new town things get interesting. Zoe discovers her true history & comes into her powers. She finds forever friends and so much more. The author's ability to make not only the story but the characters come alive is amazing. I never wanted this book to end. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. The spiritual part of this book blends seamlessly with the other parts [...]

    28. What can I say about this bookWOW, WOW, WOW! If you are looking for a book that will grab you from the start then you don't need to look any more. Once I started reading this book I just didn't want to put it down. I love that this book was a Christian book and almost any age enjoy this book (it maybe scary for younger readers due to the shadows). I am going to add this book to my home library because I loved it so much.*I received a copy of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.
