    1. I didn't particularly enjoy this, there was no romance. They were just suddenly together, no real back ground There was no time to connect with the characters and I found nothing particularly relatable about them either.

    2. My first impression of this book was that it was weak, bland, flavorless Either of the three applies. There was absolutely no chemistry between the main characters, they feel more like a mix between complete strangers and siblings, and that doesn’t change throughout the book. There is no emotion, no build up. They go from strangers to lovers, to I love you’s, to “we can’t have a long distance relationship” in seventy short pages.I didn’t pay anything for this book and I still want my [...]

    3. Don't bother wasting your money I'm glad I didn't pay for this because damn this book sucks. Bad writing and lame story. And cliff hangers are so annoying!

    4. Hmm bit of a struggle to read most of this TBH. The characters, NFL Draft-hopeful, Blake Williams and chemistry nerd and tutor Katelyn French aren't particularly interesting. They first meet when she's watching her friend's boyfriend propose, in a setting she organised. Blake's there too, photographing it all. Weird? Just a tad. Of course she has no idea who he is Mr. Popular football, she's like literally the only person in college that doesn't know! They begin dating, she had all these nerdy f [...]

    5. Up until about the 50% mark, I was thinking I would probably give this book 1.5 -2 stars because it wasn't very good but then it got worse. When Kate said her dad was gay and died of AIDS I was pretty much over the whole book but I decided to stick with it until the end because the book is only 70 pages. Speaking of which, I think it is really stupid to have a bunch of 70 page books that just cut off mid story cliffhanger. Just put them all together and have 1 book. Especially since a lot of it [...]

    6. This is a DNF for me unfortunately. I was trying very hard to get into it but I just couldn't. I made it to the 40% mark and had to stop. The characters were not doing it for me and if I can't relate to or at least like the characters of a story then it's a flop for me. They just seemed so immature and petty and it was hard for me to find any positives.

    7. Not a fanEverything seemed to happen so fast that I thought I'd missed several chapters. I felt that many details were left out. The transition was not smooth. Will it read from this author again.

    8. I wanted a quick read and this one fitted the bill at around 70 pages. However, it is actually part 1 of a 5-part series. The book ends on a cliff-hanger, so be warned! Blake and Katelyn are complete opposites. He’s the star quarterback on the college football team heading to NFL stardom, and she’s a nerdy chemistry major. However, they seem to ‘get’ each other. Katelyn is a refreshing breath of fresh air to Blake who is fawned over constantly, and he finds himself working hard to impres [...]

    9. When I first started reading this book, I thought it was going to be another sports romance book I would enjoy, but it was pretty much the opposite. The book wasn't horrible, but it wasn't my favorite. I was actually really disappointed in what I had read. The romance wasn't really there and the characters were just a couple all of the sudden. There was no build up, no connection between the two. They were actually very boring to read about. I need a book with much more description and feeling.Ov [...]

    10. This book was 70 pages with a cliffhanger? What a joke! If all five books in the series are 70 pages that means that she could have had one 350 page coherent book instead of making people pay for five books. To be quite honest the first book did not make me want to read even one more book in the series let alone four more. It was like "wanna date?" "No but yes" then suddenly they are knee deep in a relationship and then the next second it's like oh no we can't date after school and then this lad [...]

    11. It had promiseI really hoped to like this book but I found it lacked depth. The plot line Chemistry geek and star quarterback fall for each other but no one really gets them Had promise. However, I could not feel the attraction between the two main characters. The was no real development with regards to character relationship and the character themselves. It was mostly through summary and narrative that you knew how each person was like, rather than through events. It was hard to read through b [...]

    12. I really wanted to like this book. The first few pages were promising, but the rest just skimmed the surface and at times left me confused about the point of the scene. Unfortunately there wasn't enough character or storyline development to hook me or make me want to pay to read the next installments.

    13. Plot okay but kept me on the edge of my seatNot the best story I've read but kept me on the edge of my seat nevertheless. I definitely didn't see her going missing . That was a plot twist I didn't expect. Might buy the second book

    14. FOR REAL? That ending! Dammit, I want to know the rest. I really like the author's writing style. I'm not sure I should buy the other books, though. This really sucks---only eight damn chapters. Not fair in the least.

    15. MehI enjoy sports romances and this is a decent read. I just didn't enjoy the premise. I don't know if I will finish the series, but I might.

    16. Fast readGood book,Characters, and story. Kept me engaged and guessing heading to number 2 now. I will have to investigate this author more.

    17. OKThis was an OK read. Wish it would have been a little longer. I am not a fan of cliffhangers but did add the next one to my wish list.
