    1. I can't believe I missed this one in December. I love these guys! Sweet and gooey, this short story is a true comfort read at any time of year. Not a standalone; read first.

    2. Sweet, hot and short. A good end to Patrick and Will story, but I can't help myself: I want more about them!

    3. Shit!! How did I miss this?? o_O Soo sweet! Love Pat and Will And I loved this just as much as the first!

    4. Review @Scattered Thoughts and Rogue WordsExcuse me Dreamspinner Press where is the rest of my story at? Why did you end it @83%. Not cool, I really enjoy these two together. Hopefully A.J makes it up to us with a full length novel some time soon. I really like the Christmas spirit between these two. You can see the love that they have for each other. I really love that both of them wanted to say those 3 magic words to each other. It was adorable how they kept stopping each other. Ben!!!! I real [...]

    5. I liked book one but felt a little cheated that it ended where it did. (Review here: kimichanexperience/a-casua) This absolutely redeems it for me!Will and Patrick have been dating for months now and it’s time to move their relationship forward. Will wants to tell Patrick he loves him and vice versa but they want to do it at the best possible moment. What results is a very sweet and sexy Christmas confession!Loved this!

    6. I really enjoyed reading this short Christmas story. It was definitely good to see Will and Patrick again.I wouldn't mind visiting them again in the future (hint, hint)

    7. Delightful Christmas is coming and it’s been 3 weeks since Will & Patrick have seen each other due to work and school commitments. When Patrick arrives early at Will’s place he finds Will fresh out of the shower so it’s truly “Joy to the World” as they reunite. What presents do they have in store for each other? It’s definitely not coal. It was fun to read how Patrick tried to keep his “gift” a secret until Christmas and that leaves Will feeling slightly out of sorts about th [...]

    8. For my honest and true view of this book, please readMORE TOS-compliant review (I think, let me know when they tell us what the rules are):"The book I just read is about two (or three) lovely people, written in beautiful language, by a very good and prolific author. I liked it very, very much.It is for sale on .”DISCLAIMER: My reviews now all have this pretty face, so that all and everyone on can stay happy and beatific. I’ll let you know if I change my mind. 9. Reviewed for Prism Book Alliance If you enjoyed Annabelle Jacobs brother's best friend - to - lovers novella A Casual Thing, you will not want to miss the free holiday short A Serious Thing. Personally, I fell in love with Will and Patrick early on and was ecstatic to revisit them, if only for a short time. For full review see Prism Book Alliance® prismbookalliance/?p=4

    10. Cute holiday mini-sequel! I enjoyed catching up with Will and Patrick :) It was nice to see the progress in their relationship. This did a good job filling the I'd like just a little bit more feeling I had at the end of the first.

    11. 4-1/2 StarsA wonderful holiday treat that finds both Will and Patrick wanting to let the other know just how they feel. Timing is yet again a factor and it only heightens the moment everything finally aligns. A great addition to my holiday library but as it is a sequel to A Casual Thing, you really should read book 1 first.

    12. So I messed up, I thought this was part of a different Will & Patrick series. Oops. So I haven't read the first book this novella is tied too. But it was still enjoyable. Super cute look at a couple trying to say ILY for the first time.

    13. Patrick and Will are facing their first Christmas together, and Patrick wants it to be as perfect as it gets, that's why he has everything planned, even the moment he's going to say the l-word… But it often happens that plans don't go as expected, and Patrick has to learn that perfection comes in many forms and shapes…A really cute follow up, it takes place after the first term, during the first long holidays Will and Patrick are going to share. Although they have been apart, they have manag [...]

    14. I read this right after finishing book #1 and it was more like another epilogue. And I think that was enough of Will and Patrick.
