    1. Schield had me laughing, cringing, and hoping against hope that the illusive HEA would appear, while also enjoying this fantastic story. As often as this novel made me swoon or giggle, there were also dome definite tear jerker moments. I love how Schield shows life how it really is - a little messy, a little scary, but in the long run, rewarding and worth the effort. Expect the unexpected with this one.I love how fully Schield develops her characters. They're all so real & the type of people [...]

    2. I won't go into details or an outline of the story but I simply did not care for it. When there is a child involved, no matter the situation excluding abuse, the father of that child has a right to know from the beginning -whether he wants the child or not. It's upsetting that he didn't know he had a son until 75 or 80 percent into the book. I really have no use for stories that include the music industry or acting and the type of people they represent.

    3. Good reunion/secret baby story. Savannah had spent her teen years as the niece of the Caldwell's housekeeper. She knew Trent and his brother Rafe pretty well and was good friends with their sister Melody, but had always had a crush on Trent. When she grew up she went off to New York and became a model, then an actress. At that point, Trent saw her as a woman and they began a fling. But he wouldn't give her the family and children she wanted, so she broke things off with him. Rafe offered her the [...]

    4. What an emotional rollercoaster ride hoping you make the right choice knowing what must be done but with so many emotions it is hard to do what is right. If I was in the same shoe as Savannah I most likely would have made these same choices. Knowing someone doesn’t want a child and wanting what is best for them giving them all you never had why put the child in a mess with a father who most likely wouldn’t be in his life. Giving him a father that you think will be there and love him it is ve [...]

    5. This was a very sweet story about second chances. Both Savannah and Trent are able to get that second chance at happiness. Savannah just lost her husband which was Trent’s brother. He was going through chemo therapy and his health deteriorated very quickly. Savannah was left along to care for Dylan and to also battle her father in law. Trent was a bachelor and during the time that Savannah and him were dating but things didn’t work out. She wanted something that Trent couldn’t give her. No [...]

    6. I received this eBook in return for an honest review. I really enjoyed reading this book from start to finish. I'm a sucker for second chances. I really liked how even though Trent was upset with Savannah for marrying his brother that he still had his instincts in helping her, being there for her even though he kept saying he shouldn't. Siggy Trent's father I hate him. In way I hate Rafe, Trent's brother as well. For lying and manipulating Savannah. The secret that Savannah kept from Trent, it u [...]

    7. Savannah loved Trent but married his brother now widowed with a young son she finds herself in financial trouble and shares of West Coast records for her son. She needs to know more about the company and wants Trent to run operations since she knows nothing about the business but Siggy Trent and Rafe's father wants nothing of it and sets out to destroy Savannah. Hidden secrets and lies, family order, deception and a past love that still is not completely gone and pain that can get in the way is [...]

    8. I completed this book however I hate to say that I didn't really like it. It was just okay. I know this goes against so many other reviews.I was not a fan of it taking the entire book for the Hero to find out that this was his child. At times the heroine is very weak and all I could think was get a freaking backbone girl.

    9. I would, in truth, give this book a 3.7 or 3.8. The reason is that it spends multiple pages setting up other story lines. It is a Billionaires and Babies book, one of my favorite formats, but it is not one of my favorites in the series.

    10. Wonderful romance about the outcome of life changing choices. It was very nice to read about Savannah's strength and Trent opening his heart to the love of his life.

    11. I loved the story , but wish it would of had more intimate scenes ! Just felt something was missing. I would love to see a second book of this story ! I recived an e-copy for my honest review . It is a heartwarming and good read though . Excellent story .

    13. I received this book via NetGalley and the Publisher in exchange for my honest review.4.5 starsThe passion between Savannah and Trent jump off the pages within the first chapter. I was floored by the scene that occurred. I knew there was backstory but this backstory is not what you are expecting. They have had chemistry since they met years ago. Trent made it clear he didn't want a future just fun. So when things go to serious Savannah a prime victim of manipulation. Only Trent isn't the manipula [...]

    14. The Black Sheep's Secret Child reads like a soap opera. Secret father's, the heroine who was married to one brother while being married to another, a controlling grandfather, embezzling, the music industry and the tv industry, oh and don't forget the super rich. There's nothing "real life" about this story, its pure fantasy, but it is quite as story. Savannah and her ex, Trent get it on fairly early on in the story, when she's trying to convince him to help her.I could't really figure out how a r [...]

    15. I melt for babies on the cover of a book, so I was a sure thing for reading Cat Schield's newest foray into the Billionaires and Babies series! Not only was it a reunion story which is always fun, but there was a paternity secret too! Lots of ups and downs as they decide how they still feel about each other, and adorable baby scenes. Loved it!Savannah Caldwell has to push her pride aside and go to the last man she might expect to ask for help. Not only did she walk out on her relationship with T [...]

    16. Love gone wrong, married to the wrong person, who dies. You have a child that is really late hubby's brothers. You have always been in love with him but married the wrong oneYou go to the brother to ask for help. he does give it to you and it is like you have not been apart from each otherA good second chance at love story!

    17. I loved this book just as i loved all other romance books i read since Nanny Makes Three. The Author graciously gave me a copy of this book to review. I love how fast of a read this was as with most harlequins as well as romances. As with all my other romances i become quite addicted to these sort of books and each takes less then 1 day to read. Cant wait to buy more romances like this one.

    18. The story is believable and at times heartbreaking at the what this couple had been through. Trent. at times he is so blind you want to smack him and at times you want to hug him. Lovely read with some sexy parts. Will definitely read others stories in this series.

    19. This book was great. Had moments of sadness and moments of utter happiness. This one is the real deal. Cat Schield did an awesome job.

    20. It was like an afternoon soap opera and just like a cheesy soap opera I found myself unable to put it down.

    21. Loved the dynamics of this romance which took me on a roller coaster of emotions, well worth a read.
