    1. The story line is simplistic which is good to have with a novella. I didn't really enjoy the feel that Talia is displayed as a female lead who comes across in the way a young teen might think. There is one straightforward goal that Talia is working towards which gets repeated multiple times. To not end up like her patents who married for political reasons. There is a much different ability by the shifters in this story who are capable of shifting into more than one animal. This is a distinctivel [...]

    2. This was a little different and I liked it a lot. I like the set up of the shifter trials in order for her to be able to choose what she wanted. All in all a good short read!
