    1. The much anticipated second book in the Wereduck series will not disappoint! The story picks up where the first book ends. Kate and her family are safely in Ontario after fleeing from Dirk Bragg and the possibility of being exposed as werewolves (and a wereduck), along with their friend John and Wacka (of course!). Kate makes the incredible discovery of an old recipe from her great-great grandmother’s for “A Cure for Werewolf” and the promise of possibly being free from the call of the moo [...]

    2. This title is nominated for the 2018 Hackmatack award in the fiction category. It is the second in a series, following 'Wereduck' (nominee in 2016). I absolutely LOVED this book!! We picked up right where we left off at the end of 'Wereduck', with Kate and family (with John and Wacka in tow) settling in to their new home in Ontario following their disastrous encounter with a scummy tabloid reporter (Dirk).     3. Cure for Wereduck is, if anything, slightly better than the original. The pacing in particular is very good with great cliff hangers at the end of chapters that make you want to see what's next. The humour and insight of the first book are in plain evidence here too. Your kids will love the book and you will be pleased they're reading a story like this.

    4. I read this book because it is one of the nominated books for the 2017 Hackmatack Children's Choice Book Award. This is a funny book, but it also has a great message packed into it. I wasn't sure about it at first but it won me over. It was also great to see a book that featured homeschooled kids.
