    2. Teaser, did it's jobIt's very difficult to shrink nearly 15 years worth of thought and action, but McHugh does the job well. By the end of this short story, you know the most important players and know that Master Binnias will probably be introducing more. The villain is appropriately foul and we've been given a glimpse of those who will protect the 15 year old King. If you enjoy fantasy and seeing someone make the choices necessary to become a man - you'll appreciate this brief introduction.

    3. Quick but enjoyable read. Glad to see this author coming back to the fantasy books. She excels at them.
