    1. This nicely illustrated book, written in rhyme, teaches children about the opposite lifestyles of two ginger cats; one lives in a house and the other outside. The grass is always greener, and they swap places for a change, only to find out that their own way of life makes them happy, and is best for them. The book has an original concept and is imaginative. The characterisation is good. The illustrations will appeal to young children. However, I feel that some of the expressions in the book are a [...]

    2. I had fun writing the text for this picture book and I love how Vincent Desjardins' artwork brought the story to life. I hope young readers enjoy this reimagined classic tale.

    3. I didn't end up waiting until Christmas to read this to my son as planned and I'm really happy that I won Prince and Popper. Lucas really enjoyed this story and the great pictures that perfectly showed each scene for both cats. Prince and Popper tells kids about how the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence or window in this case. There were many sweet little boy giggles at the cats and he paid attention until the very last page. I recommend Prince and Popper to anyone with a [...]

    4. Prince and Popper is an adorable, fun children's tale (tail?)! As a huge cat fan, I enjoyed the two main characters and their adventure. The illustrations are gorgeous and spring off the page. The rhyming prose is clever and entertaining. I'll be picking several copies for gifts for friends and family. I can't wait to share!

    5. This is a cute retelling of *The Prince and The Pauper* that involves cats staring at one another from different sides of a windowpane. Popper is a wildcat, born to roam. Prince is a spoiled housecat in a fancy home. They switch places for awhile, but decide that the best way for each to live is how they were when it started.I ended both the poetry and the art.
