    1. Damn good read.I know a few of you will go through this boom and nitpick the occasional misspelling and such and good for you. I rated this as a five star for the story not the grammar. As a fantasy fan I haven't been pulled emotionally into a book for a food while and this book did it. I hope to see more from this author. And yes read it yourself if you want to see what I mean.

    2. Well done!I've read many LitRPG over time. It is extremely rare for a story, any story to let the dust hit my eyes so. Daniel, I only wish I could convey the range of emotions in a story like you have. To everybody else; if you don't read this, I have no idea what to say. You are missing such a great story and journey. I'm going to go and hug my family now.

    3. AwesomeAwesome. Even knowing through part of the first and the whole second book what was in store for the group at the end, it didn't effect my enjoyment of the story at all. I still loved the journey through there lives in and out of game. In my opinion, the best thing an author can do is get me to care about the characters. Congratulations. I care.Awesome.

    4. Fun readDaniel has done a wonderful job of getting the reader to relate with his characters. I was grabbed right from the beginning and could not put the book down. I look forward to get a chance to read more from this author. I hope that he will write more about this wonderful group of friends he has introduced me to.

    5. Excellent The book was fantastic. I hope the author writes many more. I really liked the way he stepped away from the leveling stat boxes too many litrpg books focus on. Made for a much better read. I love litrpg but this is a much better way to tell the story.

    6. Loved itAn absolutely fantastic adventure, a great conclusion to a short series. Thank you Mr Schinhofen for taking the time to dream up this story and to write it. I would haven the story 10 stars if I was able to.

    7. Slice of life meets litRPGI really liked having older more experienced hero's for a change. I also liked the balance between the game world and the mundane world. Well worth a read (or reread).

    8. Love this bookAnd the first booke words draw you in to such a beautiful world,I would certainly go to visit. Will read this book again.

    9. Made me cryFantastic book. Made me laugh, made me cry, and made me want more. I highly recommend you read this series.

    10. Fantastic If you like a happy ending and soft Litrpg you will love this book! Daniel looking for more from you!

    11. 2 Great BooksLoved both books! Really hoping for a 3rd. Well written and great characters. Thanks for the experience and hope your new project is done soon.

    12. Im not surprised. It was pretty obvious where this book was going, and I don't know why I am still disappointed with he ending when it was pretty obvious. It ruined the book, the author could have ended the series there but decided to mess up the ending to squeeze in another book. the book was good but the endingughNope not reading the third book

    13. Way to make a grown man cry I read Beta Just finish reading this one and it brought up all the memories of family members and friends thought I lost and wish that I have gotten the I'm get ready to leave speech and that the main character devote his last year just something he believed in and cared for makes me hope humanity is actually like that

    14. Hooked from beginning to endGreat progression of the established characters, satisfying ending, and I was choked up for about half the book feeling for the trials of characters as they watched one they care for slip down the path of terminal illness

    15. Daniel doesn't disappoint. Alliteration aside, Schinhofen swings for the fences and connects yet again. Engaging characters, an excellent conflict well-developed and a satisfying conclusion, well-delivered.

    16. A great series! Good writing, excellent characters, and a interesting storyline make the two books in this series well worth reading! I hope the author eventually writes more about these characters after his new (another good read) book.

    17. Almost a 5-star or better -- SPOILERS S P O I L E R S2 stars. I would have easily ranked this at 5+ stars excepting for the author leaving the world of Last Horizon at the continued mercy of the villains. Paval's corruption, Red Storm's unearned status, and their complicity with Vengeance aren't addressed. Instead, there doesn't appear to be any retribution or loss. Unfortunately, their continued presence would likely become a rallying point for like-minded players since the only penalties were [...]

    18. I thought I knew what was coming, but I was wrong. This was much better than what I expected. Great book

    19. Brilliant ConclusionA fabulous conclusion to Last Horizon. The characters are all brilliantly developed and sincere. Truly one of the best Gamelit books available.

    20. This one of the best books I've read. The fight with cancer makes this a very real and compelling story. This is one great author.

    21. An enjoyable read, but definitely shorter than the last one. It also ends the series, which I didn't know coming in.My only gripe about the story is that it ends so abruptly. I don't think it was because I knew it was coming either.
