    1. I was given this book and am voluntarily reviewing it. This series is what would happen if Becky Bloomwood decided to become a detective! As a thank you for her work in Las Vegas, Leah is taking Sam to Rome with her to relax, see the sights, and attend a movie career. Their time of pampering is quickly ended when Vitale's (Leah's grandfather) bodyguard is shot and then Vitale and his ambulance disappear! Sam's search for Vitale gets more complicated as the case continue. I, again, love the blog [...]

    2. Samantha Stone does it again in the third Samantha Stone Mystery by author Katie Bloomstrom. As is the case in the first two books of the series, Rome-un Holiday is a fun-filled romp with many twists, turns and trysts. Although Sam Stone is a novice PI, she still manages to catch the bad guy and get her man, all at the same time! I really enjoyed reading this book. It is fast-paced and funny, and the comments left by Sam’s blog readers only add to the hilarity. I highly recommend this book to [...]

    3. I have just finished reading Rome UnHoliday, the third book in the Samantha Stone series. All I have to say is….wow. This is my first foray into reading a book written as a blog. I must say, this type of writing takes some getting used to. It is like a stream of consciousness. But once I got used to it, all was good.Samantha Stone has just finished a mission and is need of a vacation. Off she goes with Leah but what ensues is anything but restful nor what a vacation should be. Another mission [...]

    4. Crazy Good! The Samantha Stone mysteries are laugh out loud books that are entertaining & endearing. The characters are off the wall whacky! The plot is nonstop all kinds of crazy & the majority is told in diary/blogging form. Our main character Sam may be quirky, but she is also gutsy, determined, & loyal. As the plot thickens, it becomes more entangled as our "heroes" are locked in a desperate race to find a killer(s) & save the world from a flesh eating virus! A very definite z [...]

    5. Oh dear! Where do I begin?! The 'investigator' in question (and questionable) is such a bumbling fool, I have my doubts as to whether the words "success rate" can justifiably be used to describe her attempts at solving anything. There is no doubt though, that this book is entertaining. I'm rather morbidly looking forward to reading more of the adventures of Samantha Stone.

    6. Samantha Stone, the rather eccentric self made PI, is at it again! This time she is in Rome with her Italian girlfriend, Leah, who is about to present her film to the Italian public. On the opening night of the film, Sam accompanies Leah and her grandfather to the theatre, That’s when three shots ring out and there is chaos. Signor Vitale is taken away in an ambulance, but it seems he never arrives at the hospital, Sam has a new mission ! Sam is a character that makes you sit up and laugh out [...]

    7. Leah Vitale de Medici was drugged/kidnapped by her twin sister. She was taken to Las Vegas, NV. Francisco Vitale Leah (Sam’s BFF’s) wealthy grandfather wanted her found alive & was willing to give Samantha “Sam” Stone (meat packing plant) a very lucrative reward. Was Domenico Agnelli the 1 who committed the crime.I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write [...]

    8. Rome Un-holidaySuper sleuth Sam Stone is at it again! Trying to take a Roman vacation Sam witnesses her friend and sometime employer Vitale barely escape from getting shot, but unfortunately on his way to the hospital he's kidnapped. Who else could rescue him but Sam of course! In her efforts to rescue Vitale, Sam gathers several friends from her previous adventures to help. If you've not read the prior two stories in this series, go find them now. This story delivered laughs and an entertaining [...]

    9. Gah! I love this series so much! I bought this book the first day it came out and read it in less than two days. I like that the author is actually developing Sam's character and she's getting better at PI-work, but I'm bummed that things might not work out with Eddie. The author cannot write these books fast enough for me!
