    1. Viviana is a teenage girl who is struggling with a recent life-altering change when she starts having vivid dreams that seem to be transporting her to an ancient Aztec city. As she pieces things together she finds out she's one of the four elemental linx, prophesied to save the human race from the Aztec Moon God. This book adds a fresh perspective within the fantasy genre as it explores the mythology of the Aztec deities. As the main characters interact and we meet the 4 linx, as well as other k [...]

    2. The Elemental Linx, Tetrad Prophecy takes you on a journey with Viviana who discovers that she is one of the four Elemental Linx and prepares for their battle with the Moon God and their followers. As if being a teen in their junior year isn't challenging enough, Viviana's challenges with her newly discovered superpower and responsibility take her on a emotional rollercoaster of a new responsibility she never imagined would have. The author's descriptive writing channels the Native American stor [...]

    3. The author, R. Castro, narrated a tale of “The Moon God wants a battle on earth to prevent the next sacrifice which happens every fifty-two years. He plans on creating four lunar eclipsed, four blood moons each one signifying death. If the Linx fail to stop the Mood God, the earth’s destruction will come in the form of volcanic eruptions,” she wrote, in her book. I bought it weeks ago, and enjoyed it on my bed. This is a good YA novel, with a good writing of the author’s fantastic world. [...]

    4. Such a wonderful fantasy adventure! Excited for book 2!Where to even start? It's been a long time since I have picked up a fantasy novel that was so captivating. Elemental Linx combines the sweetest touches of romance, fantasy, and Aztec mythology into a clean, and intriguing young adult novel that is entertaining and engaging. I adored the entire story! It's not many that could weave a tale between sleeping and reality, with such fluidity, but R. Castro did it with such finesse that I couldn't st [...]

    5. Good storyI quite enjoyed the way your mind spinned aztec myths and legends. It helped that I was familiar with them because I am a lover of history and culture. At first it felt like she would be alone in her journey but im glad ahe found companions on her mission to save humanity. I also noticed the undertone that was the catalyst that we as humans judge what we dont understand and before we could inform ourselves we condemn and even more than that we will try to take what others have and male [...]

    6. A well-written YA story that traverses two worldsd secrets.Viviana has dreams, are they real or just an escape from her sorrow? This tale is a cross between fantasy, history, myth and legend, with a touch of teenage angst and romance. Some good characters, an intriguing plot and concept.Worth a look.

    7. Read It Twice!I have to confess that I read this book twice; once because of the fast pace of the story and my impatience to find out what happens next, and a second time to go back and pick up on the minutiae that I missed on my first go-round! I can't wait for the next installment!

    8. I was hoping for a bit more than what I got with this book. It is very confusing at first and very slow moving. The idea is great and I love that it involves Aztec history and culture. The writing is very choppy and unedited. it makes for a rough read. I honestly didn't get into the story line for half the book. It was just a drag for the most part. I was hoping for a more smooth style read and something a bit more exciting. The blurb for the book drew me in but the way the book started out didn [...]

    9. This is a highly imaginative story and I loved the exploration of Aztec cultures, of which I knew little about. Viviana is a strong and multi-layered protagonist and she carried the story forward well. I really liked the way her every day life was juxtaposed against life as the Elemental Linx. A great, original YA read.
