    1. The blurb is a little misleading, or maybe it was my interpretation o the blurb, but this is a prequel story. Sandra isn't so much a runaway bride in the sense that she got cold feet and ran away, but more in the sense that the person she's supposed to be mated to she doesn't want to be tied to them. The story does give a lot of background information that I hope is beneficial for the following series. It was a good paranormal romance story but fell flat in several areas for me.

    2. I loved it! A well written and enjoyable read. Poverty forces a young woman to make a choice to marry to keep her mother safe. She runs away though after finding out he can't help them. In running away she finds and falls in love with a wolf shifter. A little romance, a lot of sexy scenes, and danger keep you hooked.I was given this e-book by the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. My conclusions are my own. I was not compensated in any way.

    3. A TERRIFIC, FUN STORY I WAS GIVEN THIS BOOK FOR AN HONEST REVIEW OVER 18+ READINGSandra Martin a young woman who's father died leaving her and her mother without anything and even losing their home. They have no one to turn to, no family, soon no home and no money. Her mother tells her and offer of marriage has come in from a prince and that both will be taken care of. Sandra agrees but at the church she has a window open and hears the prince and his cousin talking ,one he has no plan of taking c [...]

    4. I read the story as part of Shifters in the Snow. She wants safety for her mom and agrees to marry a prince who says he will provide for them. When she realizes he is not who she thought, she is determined to find another groom. She finds someone who agrees to help her as long as she is not interested in him being the groom. It doesn't take long for him to realize he does want her after all. It is a fun little story.I received a copy in return for a honest review.

    5. Short and SweetThis story is short and sweet, a HEA while showing a bit about the characters and writing style of the author. The Alpha Hunted series by J.M. Klaire. My copy had a small amount of errors but not enough to detract from the intent of the book. If you want a peek at a this author's style, this isn't a bad way to do so.

    6. 18 plus due to sexual contentI got this novella to see if I would enjoy reading this author. I love shifters and their stories, but this one wasn't really all that good.

    7. Naythan and Sandra have a great storyThis prequel is an introduction to this Universe, with essential world building that clearly sets that stage in which more adventures can unfold, but unlike many prequels this is a done in one stand alone story. More than just an introduction to characters, this goes from Naythan and Sandra's first meeting, to their happy for now that gives every indication they are beginning a happily ever after.Sandra's determination to learn from what she perceives as her [...]

    8. ABSOLUTELY ENJOYABLE READING PLEASURE BY J.M.KLAIREBefore the Hunt:Sandra and Nathan:Prequel to the ALPHA HUNTED SERIES, Sandra is a delightful mixture of caring, desperation and jumping into one situation after another while Nathan is desperate for relief from stalking females,a past with a horrible father and a wolf nagging him to see who's in front of him. It's a delightful experience reading about them and meeting Mac a bear shifter and best friend of Nathan's. So looking forward to the rest [...]

    9. As this was my first introduction to the series I was lost. I had no sense of time it read like an historical novella but the language was modern. I wasn't sure where it was taking place old earth or a different planet. I haven't read the other books in the series and I'm not sure this book helps the author engage new readers to her series. Good luck and I hope your experience is better than mine.

    10. Sandra is looking for a rich husband to take care of her and her mother. Naythan has no desire to find his mate and is shocked when she shows up in a wedding dress looking for a husband. This was just kinda blah. The language and slang didn't really seem to make sense with the setting. Sandra was way too desperate and whiny for my tastes. And Naythan needing reassurances from his friends every five minutes didn't make him appealing to me.

    11. Good story. This was my first book by this author. It was well written enough to provide me with the desire to read more, so I purchased this series. For a quick introduction to the series, the storyline is well plotted, the characters are likeable and together they produce a world I'd like to visit again.

    12. This was a funny story to meRunning away from one wedding. Looking for another husband in the caravan of the king. But she may find more than she thought. Did she find a rich husband or did she find more.

    13. I love this booksI love J. M. Klaire books. They are hot, sexy, stories of finding your true mate. The way the characters interact with family, friends & other people who come into lives is important to the plot & stories

    14. It felt a little too short but it was a good read for a quick plane ride (which I finished it on). Not sure if I will start the series that this book is linked too.I was a little confused in some parts on what was going on. The descriptions/plot could have been expounded a little more.

    15. Beautiful readThis was a lovely read about true love. She runs away only to find the one she should be with. Not easy at the start but things are out if your hands. Lovely read.

    16. Shifter yumIt this is what the rest of the series will be like, Yum!! There's depth to these characters and craziness galore.

    17. Nathyn ramblesA little too short but will either have you in stitches about the antics of these two or wanting to tell them to seek help and smack them

    18. Before The HuntThis is a prequel to a new series of shifter stories. I enjoyed the fantasy realm of J M Klaire. Where shifters and human coexist.

    19. Great Short Story! This story was a Wonderful lead into a series! I hope readers will love this story and want to continue on with the series!Voluntarily read for honest review.

    20. Great start!I really love this series and was so dead to learn of Naythan and Santa’s story. Pick this one up you won’t be disappointed

    21. Some errors and odd dialogue made this just OK. The characters have real issues to overcome. The setting was medieval fantasy but with Christmas.Mature content

    22. Very fun!I really enjoyed this short story, and am looking forward to the first book in the series. My brain is trying to wrap itself around this world! From so many past books read it seems as if something is just wrong, the way they speak and act not meshing with the horses, kings, etc The characters are great, so I'm sure my lupus brain will adjust. It's just slow on the uptake sometimes!

    23. J.M. Klaire Delivers!I received this story in a bundle I bought and thought it deserved its own review. Before The Hunt is the prequel to the Alpha Hunted Series where we first meet Naythan and Sandra in Bane and Keelyn's story. In this story we learn how Sandra is being forced into agreeing to marry someone to help save her mothers home. And after she overhears the conversation of how he is only marring her to spite his father she leaves. Then she meets up with Naythan a werewolf who recognizes [...]

    24. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story of a runaway bride who is human absconding from her own wedding after hearing what her groom expects of her after they are married. He is no prince charming that is for sure. So she needs to find a replacement groom in a hurry, so she can provide for her mother and brother. So she runs away to the caravan traveling to the capital and meets Naythan a wolf shifter who has major commitment issues due to his childhood. Naythan's wolf has no such issues he want [...]
