    1. I think that the reason I disliked this book so much is because I've been spoiled by really good books of the similar genres. Really good equestrian chick-lit: Riding Lessons & Flying Changes. Really good thrillers: anything by James Rollins. On paper, I should love equestrian thrillers and this book, but this story was just silly. No suspense to speak of, flat and boring characters, the occasional typo, "patriotic" parts are just cheesy to the point that I expected to hear Toby Keith break [...]

    2. Toni Leland does it again, what an great story with two childhood friends who now as adults own and run a stable of jumper horses, teaching kids how to ride and show. They have their personal problems and finacial problems. An Arabic girl becomes one of their students and the FBI show up leading everyone to think there is a terrorist "sleeper cell" being formed right there at their facility. I love how the author added unexpected twist and turns at the end of the story and it leaves you smiling [...]
