    1. This is a comprehensive pictorial review of the work of a major regional architect of the 20th century. While his work might be categorized as reactionary, it must be viewed in its own context as residential client work for members of the Houston establishment. In the rare occasion when Staub house is scrapped down, what replaces it, no matter what the cost, is a more ostentation, but ultimately a lesser effort.
