    1. Mamma mia's surely better if you don't speak italian and you have never been in Florence if you want to read this. The names she came up with are impossiblewhy not asking someone who knows this stuff before publishing the book?? Those few lines in italian are ALL WRONG. The Florentine family won't have the last name Salvatore, that is the FIRST name for guys, mostly from the south. The maid had name FANTASIA!!!(rolleyes)Seriously?? LOL! And the hero's sister name is Sophia. It would be Sofia in [...]

    2. The tragedy/angst/romance balance seemed off in this second chance story. The H/h are only reunited because his brother and her sister were both killed in a car accident in Italy. The tragedy is drawn out as the heroine sits by her sister's bedside and watches her slip away. Then we have a funeral and its aftermath. During this time the H/h rehash what broke them apart. (He thought she was cheating on him. He didn't believe her when she told him (view spoiler)[ it was her sister who has cheating [...]

    3. I'm a big proponent of honesty so secrets in romances aren't my favorite theme. If the characters would just communicate, they'd probably stay together and all the heartache and time apart could be avoided. Why read the story if I don't like secrets? Well, it was a secret to me that it was a secret-themed book! Although I should know by now that it's a favorite device employed by Michelle Reid. Secrets can be effective in creating drama and angst, but I can never fully rally behind characters wh [...]

    4. A good read. The passion between Luca and Shannon is explosive but this is also a very sad book(with a happy ending). The tragedy that reunites them is well written and heartbreaking to read that you might need some tissues for your crying eyes. Shannon and Luca had fallen in love years before until a lie leads Luca to believe his love was betrayed and his kicks Shannon out. Neither have had any other relationships in the years apart so all that pent up passion explodes when they meet again, leav [...]

    5. Awesome HP - one of my very favorites! Tons of angst and emotion. I always like the idea that even when the hero believes something about the heroine that he can't forgive, he'll be there for her if she really needs him. I love how protective he was and how he worried about her emotional state, even when he still believed she had betrayed him. Great romance!

    6. Two years ago, Luca Salvatore ended his engagement to Shannon Gilbraith after catching her cheating on him. They are reunited after his brother and her sister (who have been married for six years) die tragically, leaving a new-born daughter behind.Since this is a category romance, it is clear from the start that Shannon was not unfaithful to Luca two years ago, but was wrongfully accused. It turns out that Luca came home unexpectedly one day to find Shannon cleaning up the bedroom, with the bed [...]

    7. Ummere are parts of this book I really despise, and there are parts that I truly enjoyed. The fact thatMAJOR SPOILER AHEAD. her sister and his brother (married now deceased) BOTH knew that Shannon did not cheat but let TWO YEARS go by and oly their accident brought this couple back together totally pissed me off!!

    8. Holy Crap! This book was one HUGE sobfest! Nothing but angst. Luca and Shannon were in love two years earlier until he found evidence of her infidelity and threw her out. Two years later he's back in her life because of a family tragedy involving their married siblings. There is still strong animosity between them, but they are forced to put the past aside to become parents to their orphaned niece. There is so much going on in this book that I can't adequately write about it without a massive am [...]

    9. Wow Very Good.d:)Excellent but not a light and fluffy read. I liked that both the H and h's POV was presented, and it was necessary so you could see the love and feelings that they had for each other. The H and h had tough issues to deal with and I think their feelings were portrayed in a believable manner. It was an emotional story that had me engaged from the beginning and wondering how they would they would ever work it out. I highly recommend it, and keep the tissues handy d:)

    10. a bit of light reading with lots of angst, alpha Italian billionaire, heartbreak etc. Your original billionaire storyline and Michelle Reid knows how to deliver a dominant alpha and a wimpy heroine.

    11. Michelle Reid is an all time favourite.is was another of her good works was sad to see that they were torn apart due to misunderstandings but their love stood the test of time!

    12. She and sister married brothers. Italy. Sister has affair but she takes blame to protect sister. Husband leaves her doesn't beleive her Sister and husband are killed in accident . She is business woman but model won't give her job cause jealousy of her. She has to return to Italy to take care of their baby

    13. The Salvatore MarriageThis relationship was because their siblings had died in a car crash, leaving their niece to be raised by them. They had an affair years ago and it ended badly. Can their marriage last with animosity between them? What if the secrets and lies that were hidden years ago?

    14. I liked the reason for the friction between the hero and heroine but as the book goes on it gets muddier. They already have a niece to care for and bring them together but she is barely in the book. And then a pregnancy on top of everything. Too much focus on the wrong things.

    15. It was an okay read. There's nothing interesting for me to give this more than 2-stars. But I'm still looking forward to read more from the author.
