    1. Ed's best book i think is "Blue Cheer" but this international mystery set in Turkey is pretty good. some wild local characters and funny happenings, but i couldn;t really sympathize with the investigator too much. i thought he whined too much and i didn't really care why things weren't going his way, i just wanted him to get on with his investigating.

    2. I won this book on First Reads. This is the first P.I. Frank Johnson Mystery I have read.P.I. Johnson is hired to find a missing person in Turkey. By the time he is through, he gets involved with the local police and the case turns into a lot more than finding a missing person.

    3. Won this on . My initial impression after a couple of chapters is that I am probably not going to like this book. Even if the plot is great, which it may or may not be, the writing is getting in the way for me and making it difficult to read.
