    1. All in all, I enjoyed this book. My one complaint is that there are entirely TOO MANY characters to keep up with, I almost wanted for there to be a chart at some point in the book to help me identify who was related to someone else as I flipped through. If I would put down the book for a day, when I picked it back up, I was sure to need to go back a few pages for a refresher. There was also no clear lead in the story. All of the storylines were major, nothing seemed to take the background to any [...]

    2. Wow!This series gets better with each book! I’m not sure anything else can compare. The old people drama was EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!

    3. I started this thinking that it was going to be a standard "bodice ripper" of a book but I found that it was well-written, funny, and had a couple well-developed characters.

    5. Heaven forbid is the latest book in the Hallelujah series by Lutishia Lovely and she does not dissapoint. This book stars Reverend Doctor Pastor Bishop Overseer Mister Stanley Obadiah Meshack Brook, Jr (or Reverend Doctor O as friends call him) who is the Head Pastor over Gospel Truth Church and he is set out to make his church the outstand, upstanding church that is was before it started crumbling from the scandel with the previous pastor. He brings in a ringer, Reverend Stanley Lee who is and [...]

    6. Scandals, sex all intermixed with faith. Gospel Truth Church is trying to restore order after the former pastor left in disgrace. Reverend Doctor Pastor Biship Obadiah M Brook Jr comes out of retirement. He sets up a code of conduct that has members fleeing the church. He then decides to have a revival, and sends for Reverend Stanley Lee and his wife, Passion. There is a lot going on, but Lutishia Lovely keeps it lively and you're flipping those pages to see what's going to happen next. Great rea [...]

    7. Well written, good character making. But there were way too many characters, making it hard to keep up with who was who, and breaking the story up into too many story arcs. Allso I'm not a fan of this kind of book. About black mega-churches full of hypocritical, supposedly ultra-religious, judgmental folks. They are just not appealing to me. I didn't like any of the people in the book and I thought several of the story arcs were totally unbelievable.Sorry.

    8. ""This is the sixth book of the Halleujah Love series and with each story the characters has grown on me more and moreHowever in Heaven Forbid there was so much going on with each couple until you felt a little let down with the ending with that said I hope that this is not the last of the series just yet but I will DEFINITELY have to agreee with another reviewer when they stated that some of the character's stories were better left untold.""

    9. Oh WOW!!! Lutishia just blows my mind. Although her books are fiction, I truly believe that these situations happen on a daily basis. Just when you think you know what's about to happen, she throws a fast curve ball and your caught off guard. I look forward to her books and would love to see her books come to life on the big screen or a mini-tv series. Keep up the great work!

    10. Lutisha Lovely serves up another interesting and quick read filled with church folks who have a little bit more than meets the eye. Initially I had trouble keeping up with all the characters but this was easily fixed by a couple of flip backs. As in all her books Ms Lovely deals with issues that are not often talked about within the confines of the church.

    11. These church folks is a trip, I really enjoyed this book they had me laughing, fussing and hollering. The preachers don't practice what they preach and the First Ladies are not living up to their vows. Rev Dr O and Reve Lee needed to switch wives if you ask me. This is a great series and I am off to start the next one. Cannot wait to see what Lutishia Lovely has in store fore me.

    12. The saga continues on the Brook/Montgomery families and then some! In this book, after the Rev Trent leaves after being disgraced, The Rev Doctor Obadiah Brook at the request of Mother Nettie, come to rhe rescue, and ask the Rev Stanley Lee and his wife Carla to do a revival to get the church back in order. Of course, things dont' work out when skeletons galore come out of the closet.

    13. This was a good read. It has a good storyline, but there are too many characters. This book is like a soap opera. Looking forward to reading the next in the series, Divine Intervention (Hallelujah Love#7).

    14. A great way to wrap up the series! Or is this the end? I wish I had a book club to discuss this one. It was a great read. It took me a couple of days to start and finish. Lovely did not disappoint with this one. The characters that I came to know in the previous novels kept me highly entertained!

    15. So far, so goodwill finish by end of today. Started for breakfastSmile. updatead within 30 hours3 1/2 starsCouldn't put it down because the story seemed familiar. I will read this author again.

    16. Nothing earth shattering. Plot predictable. Conflict predictable but written well and does hold your interest. It has a christian novel flavor with frank/stark scenes of betrayal, surprises and real life conversations.Enjoy!

    17. All I can say is WOWThis series has been Amazing each book gets better and better. I'm glad that I waited to read them all at one time if I would have had to wait for each one to come out I would have pulled my hair outlol

    18. I give this book a 3.5 star rating. It was ok. The bombs that kept being dropped in this book kept me into the book. Stan and Passion's story had me feeling some type of way. Decent continuation to the series.

    19. Book number six of the series. Still scandal in the church with the Kjngs, the Montgomery's and the rest of the flock at the church. I love her Love Halleleujah series. Always something going on to get you going! Read: 2010

    20. It was a good book surprisingly. I thought it was going to be poorly written just based on some of the character's names. I'd recommend it to others.

    21. I like this book because it shows the flawed character of being human. Doctor O. was a mess. Mama Max is hilarious Nd Dorthea has got a lot of nerve.

    22. I liked the book but the ending left me feeling like it fell short and so I took away two stars because the ending for me is a big deal

    23. great book it talk about what happen in your past can effect the outcome of your Future. I cant wait and looking forward for her next book All Up In My Business that come out March 2011
