    1. 3 1/2 stars. An appealing series featuring a plucky young Scottish musician, Helen, who inadvertently befriends a cadre of magical beasts after she performs some minor first aid for a centaur. ( Helen's mother is a vet.) in the second in the series Helen must balance her musical aspirations against her desire to both help some magical beasts in distress and rescue a young boy stolen by fairies. Folklore weaves through the story and Helen must figure her way out of some sticky situations. Fun.

    2. Helen is away at a prestigious music camp, practicing her violin for all she' worth, when some interruptions come along. Namely, werewolves fighting against the faery folk for control of their forest. Before long, Helen is involved, though her "help" just seems to makes things worse, and most of her ideas backfire. When a child is stolen from a home nearby, she realizes how much is at stake. She will do anything to bring back this boy, even if it means making a deal with the Faery Queen herself [...]

    3. I liked this one just not as much as the first in it doesn't have second book slump it is just slightly different from the first but I still loved going on this journy
