    1. The Wallflower, Vol. 16 was fun and silly, I enjoyed it! Following the usual format of four chapters (or mini stories) in this volume, it opens with a trip to Harajuku! Sunako decides to give the outside world another chance and the guys are along for the ride! This is a really fun chapter with some group bonding. The following chapter (64), something is amiss with Kyohei after a knock to the head! Sunako (very creeped out) is determined to return him back to normal after some romantic (but ver [...]

    2. This volume sure made me laugh! Sunako sure is something! I love her for that, the fact that she can get into something super easily and stubbornly continues with it. And then suddenly stops it as well. This volume was so fun with how Sunako was being. I really enjoyed it.

    3. Overall Rating: BSynopsis: A Shōjo comedy/romance manga created by Tomoko Hayakawa. At the beginning of the manga, Sunako Nakahara confesses her love to a boy, who utterly rejects her and tells her she's ugly. As any reasonably young person would do, Sunako then discards all traces of her femininity, and retreats into odd and morbid hobbies, such as collecting skulls. Fortunately, Sunako's aunt owns a mansion that four gorgeous boys live in (huh?). Apparently, the boys pay rent to live in the m [...]

    4. If you've been following this series, you are probably aware of all of the water treading filler episodes that this series has put out. The last volume provided some actual happenings, but was a teensy bit dissapointing. This volume doesn't pick the action back up, but it does move it forward, which is still pretty good. In this volume we discover that Sunako has been making some progress in the boys' attempts at making her a lady. She's making attempts to visit places that she'd previously shun [...]

    5. Another Valentine's Day, where the guys have to endure the craziness of their fans and of Sunako, who goes nuts when it comes to chocolates. This one was my least favorite. My two favorites, on the other hand, were where the boys go to Harajuku with Sunako and all of them disguise. It started very funny, cuz Sunako was having troubles to ask the boys how to get there; and the other one, 'Pheromone BOMB', where Kyouhei gets Ranmaru personality. At least, I do not see any romantic feeling from Suna [...]

    6. Love this series. In this volume Sunako cracks me up as normal. In the first part she is going on a shopping trip with the guys. The next part is Valentine's day of course Sunako only wants the guys Chocolate but they are trying to run away from all of the girls and the craziness that surrounds them on Valentine. In the last part of this book Sunako thinks she has to go on a diet. She starts working out then she decides she wants to get really muscular the things Kyohei makes her does cracks me [...]

    7. Sunako is acting strangely. First, she wants to go the faashionable shopping district, seemingly to take the trip she didn't take in junior high. This does not end well when the boys are recognized by their fans. Then she gets super excited about Valentine's day, but more because of the boy's chocolate than any desire for love. Finally, when she gets a an invitation to a ball to meet a prince, she diets. Could she be turning into a lady?As if.Once again, an entry in this silly, but oh, so addict [...]

    8. The sixteenth volume returns its focus to Kyohei and Sanako over four stories. In the first, Sanako goes to Harajuku and the boys follow along. In the second, Kyohei takes a knock to the head and his hormones go into overdrive. In the third, the Landlady offers them a getaway for Valentine's Day but things do not go as planned. In the final story, Sanako tries to get in shape with unintended consequences.Entertaining and actually advances the plot, but not much more than that.

    9. When I first started the Wallflower, I felt the first 12ish volumes just felt the same. I didn't see the plot moving forward a lot, but then came volume 15 where we start seeing marked changes in Sunako and the forward movement of the plot. It's a series that gets better with time because you see the changes after things have been grinded into the readers mind. I can't stop reading this series now, it was really good before, but now its entered into 'cannot put this down!' territory.

    10. Loved this series. I love reverse harem type series especially when the girl is considered to be 'plain.' Nakahara was a hilarious character and I loved all of her creepy ways.It was similar in my mind to Boys Over Flowers. Same general concept and characters.

    11. I really liked the Harajuku episode. However the new valentines day one was not that much funny. I wonder how the author find all these ideas for her episodes because sometimes they are to impossible to be real!

    12. It took 15 volumes for Sunako to get over her junior high trauma and it was getting a little old. But now that she's feeling more confident, the characters can have more interesting adventures together.

    13. Sunako in Harajuku, Kyohei gets hit in the head so is extra nice to Sunako with predictable effects, Sunako gains weight then loses it so she can look like an anatomical model of muscles. Not much action in terms of overall story arc though.

    14. Overall series review (mostly) 4 Stars - so far, I’ve still got a few to go… Additional: Like most long running series there are some duff chapters/volumes See: /review/show
