    1. This is a fascinating story that immediately places the reader in the midst of conflict. I was intrigued by the concept of telepaths being restrained and regulated by a special division of the police force. While a short read, the character development gave me an almost instant and clear picture of who these people are. The story stands well on its own, though it's such a great concept that I would love to see it expanded into a series.

    2. It feels like it still needs a little tidying up. In fact, it feels more like the opening chapter of a book than a self-contained story. However, in only a few pages I was immersed in this world and wanted to know more about how the humans with special abilities fit in. I actually felt kind of cheated to discover it was a short story and it left me thinking about how such a world would work.

    3. I really enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would. I love the whole concept of the telepaths that help the law enforcement officers. How awesome would it be knowing that you have someone looking out for you in every way, be able to scan others minds and see their intentions and let you know without making a sound. I know I am rambling but I am fascinated with telepathy stuff. Always have been, one of my favorite book series is the Bishop/Special Crimes Unit. They are a group of people [...]

    5. Ironically I was also watching a TV programme about people with similar skills when I read this, and it is definitely a format that works best on screen than in a book. It's not easy to read in places.

    6. Read half of it before giving up. I feel like this would need to be a full length book with more description for me to follow the action. I was lost with the terms and characters by page 3!
