    1. This gospel has Jesus as about as pleasant to those around him as the Old Testament prophets were: Elisha had those who called him bald eaten by bears; Jesus kills children for accidentally running into him. A great read and opens up the fact that those who put the bible together had a great deal of leeway to create the Jesus they wanted by inclusion and omission. A good translation with pictures from the medieval codex can be found at tonyburke/infancy-gospe

    2. The basic concept is the same as the Hercules movie by Disney. A boy with immense power, but without the sense to use them for good. Obviously young Jesus wreaks havoc in his village, and is the worlds most difficult kid for Joseph.Eventually Jesus learns the joy of using his power for good.

    3. Jesus was a little monster as a kid! A cross between Peer Gynt and a five-year-old King Lear with access to the nuclear codes. He learned to play nice eventually, though.

    4. WowAll i can say is WOWis was such an eye opener. If you really want to understand that Jesus is GOD this will do it.
